- People suggest the Quran offers a fixed number of prayers / sessions per day. What does the Quran say?
What are the 'names' of prayers doing in the Quran then? Like Fajr and Isha? What of Wusta and Tahajud?
Presentation based on the Quran and nothing else.

This video is well and understanding. We learned things from generations to generations without questioning. Believe in Quran 100% and you are safe. So called narrations (Hadith of our beloved) most are made up and in his ( Mohammed) life he did not approve what people writing about him and he asked them to burn 🔥 all but some of them kept it. Reason the Ummah is confused today. One need to chose side in this ear. Either we believe in Quran ( without any outside sources) or you believe in narrations ( Hadith) and Hadiths = Bible method : who says what, Paul says this, Abu Hurara say that……….
I myself believe in Quran and only Quran.
May Allah guide us!
Well said
Where did you get that he asked them to burn?
LOL typical Quranist detected!
@@Sullytaan from Hadith. When you get to a place of being certain that Quran is your only religious source, you are still able to go back to other readings eg. Hadith and take history from it. Obviously with a grain of salt. Kind of like putting the pieces of the puzzle together.
@@reyyanyucel1234 but wher can you get an understanding of the sirah of the prophet without hadith sources? hadiths are themselves contradictory
Contrary to popular belief our Salat is to be political and social activists. They replaced this duty with motions of a Yo-Yo, took away our activism so that they can rule unchallenged.
Political / social activism is indeed part of al-salah

Brother Mosa, I have a lot of anxiety and questions when it comes to Islam but I can’t dare to speak and question.
I have born and raised in Afghanistan in a very conservative society but hence illiterate about the true Islam teachings. I live in Canada now.
Your videos gives me hope and I want you to make more videos in English since many Muslims around the world needs to get the message , I’m fortunate enough that I understand Urdu but I’m worried about Millions of Muslims around the world that they are following Mullas and Mufties , and they ruined their lives in many ways .
I’m promoting your page and I’m glad I can see more followers now 😊.
Being Pakistani, I know exactly what you mean.
Least we can do is to improve ourselves.
First Afghanistan people should learn moral and treat women equally
Selamun alaikum dear brother
I do agree with you in many things you said during this series, but I am also convinced that the Almighty in his eternal Wisdom has left the possibility to understand His words differently, to include more of His servents into his Mercy.
As I like to say the square root of 4 is +2 as well as - 2, so whatever you say, it is a correct answer 😊
Good work my brother. Keep it up. May Allahs blessings and guidance b w u.

Swalah is the human soul quality improvement life struggle practice. Not a prayer. Thats what I realize. Swalah Tul Fajr is Swalah to fight against Dark age

Hi Bro , would it be a good choice to render "Akımus Salat" as "keep up the obligation" throughout Quran?
Hmmm. It fits the overall mafhoom of the term
After studying Sam gerrans work I understand it to mean uphold the duty and follow closely (adhere to) and connect/contact.
Is there anyone who can point me to the right video link? I can find teaching like this in Kurdish sorani, please, and many thanks for taking your time to read this.

Probably best to catch me in the next livestream if it's not something I've covered already
As Salat does have a fixed time regulation from Allah, it is related closely to the gift of Allah for those who engage the Qur'an, who try to understand the divine labels of the Qur'an.
Why wouldn't it manifest in the form of a physical commitment ? It is prescribed in the kitab that we should keep "remembering" Allah after we're done with salat, this imply that one of the aspect of salat is that of a complete abstraction for the mind, and then after this abstraction we must keep remembering Allah's presence when we're busy (not completely disposed for salat), by the way of dikhr.
So saying that salat is a generic term for everything related to remembering/attached to Allah is to me a precipitated statement
@@Deucalion3712 if you think that zikr means remembering then you have a shallow interpretation about that word.
Zikr have a specific meaning, that is tailored for all ayat of the Qur'an, without zikr, you wont be able to understand the Qur'an as a whole, as Zikr is approximately 60-70% of the Qur'an.
The fact that dikhr can be translated as something else not related to "rembering god" is an hypothesis i'd like you to develop.
But this possibility doesn't change a bit of my argument in the sense that this salat is still described as an abstracted thing and not something innerante that we can do in the form we choose.
@@Deucalion3712 if you are really open minded, then I don't mind giving you a recomendation of a channel in youtube, to study more about the concept of how to explore the depth of the the word of Qur'an, but using the organic methodology that is available within the Qur'an.
Search for "Marvelous Qur'an" channel on RUclips, and then start from the title "YT 93".

@@rabbi619 Thanks for the reference. Could you kindly share a more detailed explanation of your theory. After doing a googe search, I found a reference to a hadith book in Wikipedia by Ahmed Ibn Hanbal. However, I couldn't download the pdf copy of that Musnad Ahmed book that seems to be available on the internet.
Anyway, according to Wikipedia, ibn Hanbal lived 164-241 AH (After Hijra). Which means he lived 200 years after our beloved prophet Muhammad.

How is salat ul Wusta moderate? in what sense? and how are others salat are not moderate in comparison?
Salam,
In 17:78, the term used is 'duluk al Shams'.
The term 'da la ka' is used only once in the Qur'an. So we cannot get a deeper understanding of the word from the Qur'an itself.
In Lanes lexicon, 'Da La Ka' is mainly explained as Rubbing or Pressing. I could find no other meaning that fits the context.
And Shams in the Qur'an always refers to the the sun.
So 'Duluk al Shams' , from my point of view is rubbing of the Sun. Which would mean sunset.
I do not understand how you interpret duluk al shams as the spread/movement of the light/sun.
Or do you mean to say that the Sun is rubbed/pressed onto the darkness of the night? A metaphor for rubbing knowlege onto ignorance.
Salam, something that moves step by step.
Shams is not just the sun in the Quran. The overall mafhoom is of something bright that rids the darkness.
Can you point me to where this understanding of Nisaa' comes from? If its not women then why is the female plural pronoun used (though I understand at times its used for general plurals). Thanks brother

Salaam alaikum brother, as you go through this lecture I am following along with a certain translation of Quran from Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall, in surah 24:58 this one actually has the word prayer. I'll type it for you. 58. O ye who believe! Let your slaves, and those of you who have not come into puberty, ask leave of you three times ( before they come into your presence): before the prayer of dawn, and when ye lay aside your raiment for the heat the noon, and after the prayer of night. Three times of privacy for you. That is just a portion of the ayat, so my question is why is prayer used if this ayat was not talking about such? Is this a mistake in translation? Because my understanding of prayer is that its private communication with our Lord and not to be preformed like the hypocrites who only do rituals for the praise of men and to show off. That when we pray its out of sight and personal. And even if it does mean actual prayer, which it does say is a private time for you, it still would not be speaking of the ritual prayer that so called Muslims today practice. And the word raiment means fancy clothing not a time of prayer 😊
iska hindi version banaiye please!
Everybody have his own interpretation and everybody say his own interpretation is correct. I'm so fed up with this. This is my experience after years of reading the most diverse translations and interpretations. I just have to learn the Arabic language. There's no other way because the people you can't count on, whoever it is.
Don't count on people brother.
Start learning Arabic today!
at the end , `millat` does not mean `way` it means `the composition / narration style instituted by Ibrahim`
"Say [O` Muhammad] : " My lord has guided me to a methodology of self correction: an established order based on principles , the compositional style of Ibrahim the monotheist. " And he was not among those who associate with Allah" [3:161]
Do you have your translation? Thank you and Selaam...

It looks like approx 90 verses of Salat were misinterpreted but still Allah was silent for 14 centuries. And now Allah gives us the right interpretation. Is fehm of Quran not preserved at all till date ?

No, there have always been people who've said that based on the Quran.
I'll leave it to those who're interested in history to get their names
I told my roommates about it that the way we pray is wrong and they were ready to kill me by stoning so can i act like praying 5 times and once you posted some picture about ramadan so should i be fasting or not cause it's hard for me i also have my exams
Even traditional Islam allows you not to fast if you face hardship
Fear Allah then your roommates
Tell them they are committing shirk by placing themselves between your free worship of Allah
If they don't understand they are not your brethren, but bullies who don't understand Quran , Quran clearly says if you believe or don't it doesn't bother Allah in the least, belief is for our own benefit

I don't think that God uses different spellings in vain. There must be a difference between صلوة and صلاة in the Quran. Some places God says صلوة (اقيموا الصلوة) and some places God says صلى, صلاتهم, etc.
And other places صلوات.
I hope that you will talk about that and dig deeper into this. Because since God uses different spellings it must be a different meaning.

N to so called today's scholars who think they r above the prophet
Is there any evidence that the prophet prayed 5 times a day?
We are not above the prophet but we are only obligated to follow the Quran per Allah. And looks like Allah didn’t require us to pray 5 times a day by doing specific movements.
Salam Moses , plz can you do a video on black magic, evil eyes and jinns possession, what do you think my reciting certain ayahs like ruqya cures us from negative energies?

@@AlMosesPhD Why not answer with adab?! Why do you have to be arrogant?
He’s got a whole playlist of videos on these subjects bro. “Salat in the Quran series” in his channel. He answers these questions in great detail.
For Shias, like Sunnis, the major rite consists of the daily prayers (Salaat in Arabic, Namaz in Persian and Urdu) comprised of the prayers of sunrise, noon, afternoon, evening and night. Altogether they consist of seventeen units (Ruk ‘ahs) divided in the ratio of 2, 4, 4, 3 and 4 for the respective five prayers.
Prayer is seen as daily communication with Allah. Salah encourages self-discipline and keeps Muslims in close contact with Allah. This gives them the strength to remain committed to living a good and purposeful life.
Praying the same set of prayers to the same routine as Muslims all over the world is a sign of solidarity with all other Muslims. It shows that everyone is equal.
The Qur’an instructs Muslims to keep Allah in mind when they have finished praying: Once the prayer is over, disperse throughout the land and seek the bounty of Allah. And remember Allah often so you may be successful (Surah 62:10).
Brother, with respect, we deal with the Quran here.
Not hearsay regarding cultural practices that are not part of Allah's din.
You've pasted pages upon pages of men's words; why not spend some time and listen to the evidence presented from Allah?
I know this not the prper topic but i would like you to make a video about word Misr, witch in fact mean a fortified village and not the country of nile and fir'awn is not the pharoh also. By my own quran perspective all the "people" mentioned were p people of yemen and oman. All events happen there.. you have tur sinin near sanaa as well as jbal nabi shuayb, and sanaa was uzal or ur salam in past (real yersusalem and ur of abraham) you have hadramouth , nabi salih tomb , marib dam where were the gardens , the place of queen of sheeba also, syon(zion) and lots of more facts... The arabia felix of "romans" was theire ultimate goal, they call it "heaven" in theire history..
Frankincess mirrh gold and all the abundance that comes in quran is not arabia petrea but arabia felix.. and nabi Isa was nephew of Musa (miriam brother) and from bible he is Yeshua (with curruptions) and has nothing to do with jesus the philistine of the pseudo year 0
One day inshallah.
Btw, I don't think the Quran talks 'literally' of fruits or vegetables or mountain or landmarks like 'Toor' upon which some people try and trace georgraphy.
5 times of Sallah are clearly stated in the Quran.
1. Quran 50:39 "Therefore, O Prophet (saws), bear with patience whatever they say, and keep up glorifying your Lord with his praise, before sunrise (FAJR) and before sunset (ASR). And glorify Him again in the night (ISHA) and also when are free from prostrations."
Quran 11:114-114 reads, "And establish the Prayer at the two ends of the day (FAJR and ASR) and in the first hours of the night (MAGHRIB). Indeed, the good deeds drive away the evil deeds. This is a Reminder to those who are mindful of Allah."
Quran 24:58 O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer (FAJR) and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon (DHUHR) and after the night prayer (ISHA). [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.
Quran 30:17-18 states, "So, glorify Allah in the evening (MAGHRIB) and in the morning (FAJR); all praise is for Him in the heavens and the earth- as well as in the afternoon (ASR) and at noon. (DHUHR)"
Quran 2:187 It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are a clothing for you and you are a clothing1 for them. Allāh knows that you used to deceive yourselves,2 so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allāh has decreed for you [i.e., offspring]. And eat and drink until the white thread of FAJR becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the night [i.e., sunset]. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allāh, so do not approach them. Thus does Allāh make clear His verses [i.e., ordinances] to the people that they may become righteous.
