  • People suggest the Quran offers a fixed number of prayers / sessions per day. What does the Quran say?
What are the 'names' of prayers doing in the Quran then? Like Fajr and Isha? What of Wusta and Tahajud?
Presentation based on the Quran and nothing else.

This video is well and understanding. We learned things from generations to generations without questioning. Believe in Quran 100% and you are safe. So called narrations (Hadith of our beloved) most are made up and in his ( Mohammed) life he did not approve what people writing about him and he asked them to burn 🔥 all but some of them kept it. Reason the Ummah is confused today. One need to chose side in this ear. Either we believe in Quran ( without any outside sources) or you believe in narrations ( Hadith) and Hadiths = Bible method : who says what, Paul says this, Abu Hurara say that……….
I myself believe in Quran and only Quran.

As Salat does have a fixed time regulation from Allah, it is related closely to the gift of Allah for those who engage the Qur'an, who try to understand the divine labels of the Qur'an.

    • @Deucalion3712
      @Deucalion3712 Год назад +2

Why wouldn't it manifest in the form of a physical commitment ? It is prescribed in the kitab that we should keep "remembering" Allah after we're done with salat, this imply that one of the aspect of salat is that of a complete abstraction for the mind, and then after this abstraction we must keep remembering Allah's presence when we're busy (not completely disposed for salat), by the way of dikhr.
So saying that salat is a generic term for everything related to remembering/attached to Allah is to me a precipitated statement

The fact that dikhr can be translated as something else not related to "rembering god" is an hypothesis i'd like you to develop.

    Salam,
In 17:78, the term used is 'duluk al Shams'.
The term 'da la ka' is used only once in the Qur'an. So we cannot get a deeper understanding of the word from the Qur'an itself.
In Lanes lexicon, 'Da La Ka' is mainly explained as Rubbing or Pressing. I could find no other meaning that fits the context.
And Shams in the Qur'an always refers to the the sun.
So 'Duluk al Shams' , from my point of view is rubbing of the Sun. Which would mean sunset.
I do not understand how you interpret duluk al shams as the spread/movement of the light/sun.
Or do you mean to say that the Sun is rubbed/pressed onto the darkness of the night? A metaphor for rubbing knowlege onto ignorance.

Salaam alaikum brother, as you go through this lecture I am following along with a certain translation of Quran from Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall, in surah 24:58 this one actually has the word prayer. I'll type it for you. 58. O ye who believe! Let your slaves, and those of you who have not come into puberty, ask leave of you three times ( before they come into your presence): before the prayer of dawn, and when ye lay aside your raiment for the heat the noon, and after the prayer of night. Three times of privacy for you. That is just a portion of the ayat, so my question is why is prayer used if this ayat was not talking about such? Is this a mistake in translation? Because my understanding of prayer is that its private communication with our Lord and not to be preformed like the hypocrites who only do rituals for the praise of men and to show off. That when we pray its out of sight and personal. And even if it does mean actual prayer, which it does say is a private time for you, it still would not be speaking of the ritual prayer that so called Muslims today practice. And the word raiment means fancy clothing not a time of prayer 😊

I don't think that God uses different spellings in vain. There must be a difference between صلوة and صلاة in the Quran. Some places God says صلوة (اقيموا الصلوة) and some places God says صلى, صلاتهم, etc.
    And other places صلوات.

Is there any evidence that the prophet prayed 5 times a day?
We are not above the prophet but we are only obligated to follow the Quran per Allah. And looks like Allah didn’t require us to pray 5 times a day by doing specific movements.

For Shias, like Sunnis, the major rite consists of the daily prayers (Salaat in Arabic, Namaz in Persian and Urdu) comprised of the prayers of sunrise, noon, afternoon, evening and night. Altogether they consist of seventeen units (Ruk ‘ahs) divided in the ratio of 2, 4, 4, 3 and 4 for the respective five prayers.
Prayer is seen as daily communication with Allah. Salah encourages self-discipline and keeps Muslims in close contact with Allah. This gives them the strength to remain committed to living a good and purposeful life.
Praying the same set of prayers to the same routine as Muslims all over the world is a sign of solidarity with all other Muslims. It shows that everyone is equal.
The Qur’an instructs Muslims to keep Allah in mind when they have finished praying: Once the prayer is over, disperse throughout the land and seek the bounty of Allah. And remember Allah often so you may be successful (Surah 62:10).

Not hearsay regarding cultural practices that are not part of Allah's din.
You've pasted pages upon pages of men's words; why not spend some time and listen to the evidence presented from Allah?

I know this not the prper topic but i would like you to make a video about word Misr, witch in fact mean a fortified village and not the country of nile and fir'awn is not the pharoh also. By my own quran perspective all the "people" mentioned were p people of yemen and oman. All events happen there.. you have tur sinin near sanaa as well as jbal nabi shuayb, and sanaa was uzal or ur salam in past (real yersusalem and ur of abraham) you have hadramouth , nabi salih tomb , marib dam where were the gardens , the place of queen of sheeba also, syon(zion) and lots of more facts... The arabia felix of "romans" was theire ultimate goal, they call it "heaven" in theire history..
Frankincess mirrh gold and all the abundance that comes in quran is not arabia petrea but arabia felix.. and nabi Isa was nephew of Musa (miriam brother) and from bible he is Yeshua (with curruptions) and has nothing to do with jesus the philistine of the pseudo year 0

5 times of Sallah are clearly stated in the Quran.
    1. Quran 50:39 "Therefore, O Prophet (saws), bear with patience whatever they say, and keep up glorifying your Lord with his praise, before sunrise (FAJR) and before sunset (ASR). And glorify Him again in the night (ISHA) and also when are free from prostrations."
Quran 11:114-114 reads, "And establish the Prayer at the two ends of the day (FAJR and ASR) and in the first hours of the night (MAGHRIB). Indeed, the good deeds drive away the evil deeds. This is a Reminder to those who are mindful of Allah."
Quran 24:58 O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer (FAJR) and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon (DHUHR) and after the night prayer (ISHA). [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.
Quran 30:17-18 states, "So, glorify Allah in the evening (MAGHRIB) and in the morning (FAJR); all praise is for Him in the heavens and the earth- as well as in the afternoon (ASR) and at noon. (DHUHR)"
Quran 2:187 It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are a clothing for you and you are a clothing1 for them. Allāh knows that you used to deceive yourselves,2 so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allāh has decreed for you [i.e., offspring]. And eat and drink until the white thread of FAJR becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the night [i.e., sunset]. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allāh, so do not approach them. Thus does Allāh make clear His verses [i.e., ordinances] to the people that they may become righteous.
