I don’t if I’m going back home. I left bk in 98. to join the military. Here in San Antonio Texas, but miss being close to Oxnard College. My brother told me even I his area is too expensive. Need to do more research
My parents got a property with two homes on the lot for $82,000 back in 1985. After refinancing several times, it finally got paid off in 2020. It was a lot of sacrifice for my parents. It meant paying off the mortgage before anything else.
It's expensive here, to make up for it keep your cell phones, cars, shoes etc for a few years before replacing em. Many want new everything constantly but that's crazy and adds to the insane cost of living here 💯🦾
I am from Manhattan, NYC so I understand location, location, location.... but still... 1.5 MILLION for that? I just can't imagine some guy who makes like 500,000 a year taking a 1.5 million loan to pay off over what, 10 years? having that and being like "Yeah I made it in life, I make 1/2 a million a year, check out the shoe box I live in." I actually want an example of who would buy that, I am actually interested.... only thing I can think of is maybe a retired single person, or maybe some younger person who made the right investments and made a few million and now just wants to live at the beach? I can't even seeing a married couple live there, there isn't enough room. And it's not cool enough to show off. You are paying 1.5 million to have a bed near the beach, that's pretty much it. Not even covered parking for your supposedly nice car? Damn. I can't even see having it as a vacation home, if you got that kind of money just stay in a nice hotel while you are there. Crazy.
They didn't even mention we have the best Fentanyl in the county!
I did not know that.
corner pocket *That billiards spot* has a lot of fights so keep that in mind 🤣🤣

That job better be paying you upwards of 100k . Anything lower than that you will be struggling . Especially if you have family
