Really appreciate this, I’m a senior this year in hs, and I’ve been working on pitching like this, just watching this at home I realized that I need to drive my front leg down instead of swinging it like you pointed out on the other guy!!
During the first part of the pitch the mlb pitcher shoulders are turned way more. He is basically looking over his shoulder to see home, where as the pitcher on the left is looking almost down his shoulder to home. Edit: Honestly this could just be the angle of the camera, now that I have watched it a few times.
@@SwoteOffical yeah I like throwing sidearm because my pitches have a bit more break But over hand my fast ball is a little better and my curve ball sinks hard
@@SwoteOffical false, it'd not, it depends on how you pitch, I was told 3 years ago to change my arm slot from 3 quarters to over the top and I pitched good, I recently switched to 3 quarters with good mechanics and I throw faster, more accurate and it feels natural

I think you're right. That will generate more power
It's Steve Cishek!
i dont quit understand the "interal rotate" part, what does that mean and how does it work?
Yeah that’s about as simple as it gets…rotate your arm in
I'm a submarine pitcher for my high school. Pitching grips for submarine are the same as over the top pitching?
Yeah
Slider, 2 seam, splitter(My personal favorite) and rising fastball
@@Masethehase how do you throw a splitter? all i have is a sinker, slider, changeup, and rising
@@masonschwartz1518 I’ll post a video on my channel, check it out
@@masonschwartz1518 a sidearm/submarine splitter is basically a changeup
When I played baseball, I would throw from three quarters to sidearm. More of a junk ball pitcher, slider, curve, knuckle and breaking ball.
2:50 dam the pitcher on the right side looking mad thicc 👀
Dravve. That leg
I’m a side arm pitcher I pitch like in the high 50’s like 58 59 I’m not that good but it’s because of my Wind up it’s off
is your windup better now?
@@SwoteOffical yeah it’s pretty decent but now I’m throwing over hand and sidearm
@@galactic_clashx4056 good, overhand is far better anyway
