3:33 “someone cut it off and put it on a table” LMFAO WHAT-
😂😂😂
Thank you so much for the video! This definetely helped me although i am still struggling a bit on the left to right part. I just have to keep practicing 😅
Thats it, just keep practicing, you'll get it! 😊
Great tutorial! I like the point u made about focusing on the head not the shoulders. It’s far from perfect but I literally got the basic movement in under a minute. Thanks!
Well done!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Still I cant move my neck without moving my shoulder I'm doing this for years it might be now 7 years I'm still trying to move my neck without moving my shoulder
Hi! Thanks for your comment, there are a few things that could be happening here.
1. If your neck and shoulder muscles are very tight and tense, they will be harder to move separately. Take a few deep breaths before you start and relax the shoulders down.
2. Focus on moving your chin/jaw rather than the neck. Even though its called a neck isolation, we're really controlling the movement from the head. You can also think about creating a pulling feeling between the left ear and right shoulder (and right ear and left shoulder) as if they're magnets being forced apart from each other.
3. It's OK if the movement is small, some very advanced dancers don't have big neck movements, it depends on individual flexibility.
4.The shoulders will move a little when practicing, as the body gets used to the movement, so rather than focusing on the shoulders staying still(which might cause frustration when the movement happens), focus on moving the chin and head and getting that distance between the head and shoulders.
man i miss the classes hope everyone is keeping well. also this video really helped thank you.
Glad it was helpful!! Miss you too, hope you're doing well 💕
Thanks!
I teach this as part of a spinal flexibility routine.
Had no idea I was being stylish!
That's awesome!
Ahhh finally i found kpop academy ❤
J'ai remarqué que quand je vivait des moment fort en stress, j'avais le cou plus tendu, c'est un excellent exercice pour destresser
thank you so so much!
You're very very welcome 😊
THANKS for the great video!! Although my husband thought I was watching a documentary about tortoises? I guess Im really bad at doing it..
Actually that probably means you're doing it right! A lot of the time a basic move by itself will look weird, but when it's done as part of a dance or as a detail, then it looks good.
Omg . Next two neck dance dend
I give up 😭✋ my neck is super duper stiff can't even move to hear the gossip 😭😭
It takes time to build up the flexibility! Don't give up!!
same, i’m really good at the back and front one but the gossip is something i’ll never hear
@@ryanrosslover712 my neck as jiggly as jelly now. I broke it in half :D
c'est comme le grand écart etc il y a des tendons, chacun a certains endroits plus ou moins souples, le cou en fait partie, a force d'essayer le mouvement il sera de plus en plus ample
@@ryanrosslover712 same
I wanted to learn the Hyunjin head think and just found out I can't move my head sidewards🥲
What's happening when you try to move your head sideways? Maybe I can help ^^
same here same here
@@PinkKPopAcademy I'm either turning my head or moving my shoulders as well😅
@@yukisato5490 it's OK if the shoulders move a little bit, as long as they're not tilting or leaning too much. Another way to think about it, is to focus on moving your chin away from the opposite shoulder, like they're being pulled away from each other on invisible strings. It's also OK if the movement is very small at first! The muscles will loosen over time and make it easier 😊
when I have to turn my head in the choreography (for example, when they switch their hair from one side to the other), I have a problem with dizziness. is there any way to get rid of it?
Unfortunately dizziness isn't really something we can fix with our moves. I also get dizzy super easily though, so what I can recommend is drinking loads of water when dancing, and giving yourself specific points on the wall in each direction to look at as you move to make yourself feel a bit more steady. Hope that helps a bit.
I can't move my head from the left to the right at all 💀
Thats OK! It's not natural movement for our neck, so it takes a while to get used to! Even teeny tiny movements are a start, your body will get used to it with practice 😊
I can only do it on the right side. My neck doesn't even move a bit on the left 😢
One side is always easier than the other 😊 Neck flexibility is a hard one too, it can take a lot of practice to build it up, but you can definitely do it!
What if my shoulder is moving slightly?
A slight movement is normal, it's just about having as little movement as possible 😊
@@PinkKPopAcademy thank you
I cant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😩
Wait why are we calling these moves K-pop basics? When it’s hip hop in general?🤨
For the purposes of RUclips they are K-Pop basics because that's specifically the genre that people are on this channel to learn and because over time they have developed their own K-Pop edge to the moves. However as they do mostly originally come from hip-hop I feel it's important to inform people of that as I teach so they are learning also about how K-Pop has developed as a style over time. 😊
For the left and right part, my head keeps tilting and my shoulders keep moving if I don't put my hands on them. 🥲
