- Usually the Transfagarasan closes at the end of October, but due to a warm autumn, they managed to keep it open til mid November, which meant we got to drive and camp on it, in our self-converted micro camper!

Așa cum a fost el Ceaușescu a fost un bun patriot și-a iubit țara și a construit drumuri ,fabrici, uzine combinate chimice a facut dintr- o țară preponderent agricolă o țară industrială, a asigurat locuințe pentru tot poporul construind orașe întregi și orășele,le- a ridicat oamenilor condiția de viață și nivelul de trai !Acest drum fantastic este unul din realizarile lui strălucite, păcat că nu a mai trăit să termine canalul Dunare- Marea Neagră !

Hello guys, if you are still in Romania, I also recommend Transalpina and Transrarau. There are other very beautiful roads in Romania. They are not that well known
Transalpina is closed now, so next time!
Superb drone footage. I'm going to watch that again.
To anyone else following their route; this road starts between Sibiu and Faragas, and runs south towards Pitesti.
