I went to Nassau in October 2014, to finally take that Scuba certificate that I always wanted. Also to se the Bond locations. As I was sitting in the lounge area in Miami, two older guys sat infant of me, I was sitting with my oPad and all of a sutten I heard this voice...Sean Connery! Well, there he sat just in front of me...I was star struck for the first time in my life. As we went to check in, the guy at the counter said if I knew who that was!!?? Yes, that was Connery I said. He had worked there for five years and never seen him, so I guess I was lucky. So I flew to the Barhamas with 007...I guess that is hard for me to top :-)

Hi, do you know if the super-marina near the Albany Club House was already there in Casino Royale ? The beach where Solange rode her horse looked wild and fun, so I think the marina was built after the movie, but that's just my feeling
The Reception Desk scene was filmed at the Sheraton British Colonial on Bay Street but that Reception Desk was built special and those scenes were filmed downstairs at that hotel and that's where that staircase is, I was there.
I may have a new location in the Bahamas for you. The wreck of the Disco Volante is located off the east end of Athol island, which is directly east of (Hog) Paradise Island. During the final scene you can compare the rocks the ship is about to crash on with the east end of Athol island; moreover the British warships coming to rescue are heading east out of Nassau Harbour in this direction. I'll accept your house challenge, gimme a couple weeks. Also, as another commenter pointed out, Staniel Cay in the Exumas is a gateway to Thunderball Cave. This is my favourite movie of all time. This is due to the fact that, in the middle of the dramatic chase scene through the Junkanoo (not Mardi Gras) parade, the two bad guys are looking for James Bond in either side of the parade; and right between them, is a potcake (our local name for a stray or mutt), taking a huge piss with a grin on his face. Cracks me up every time that they left this in the movie.

Apparently, the house where Daniel Craig was in Bahamas, where he (almost lol) slept with Solange is the "villa 1085". It's located on the North of the ocean club resort, there are 3 similar houses with swimming pool, and the villa 1085 is the one in the middle. That's for my little contribution lol

The hotel lobby at the Sheraton British Colonial was exactly as it was in the film The scene was shot there i am 100 percent sure not at another location as suggested

How do I know this to be a FACT?. I WAS WORKING there as Assistant Personnel Manager at the time. I was there when they built the new bar and the Ramp. I was there in a corner when the scene with Fatima was actually being filmed.... I was allowed to witness the filming as long as I stayed out of the way of course, ,,lol The photo you say is the Lobby of the Sheraton that was NOT used?. Its probably because its NOT the Sheraton 's Lobby (at the time of filming)........ There are a few other details that were NOT as mentioned........The Fact Checker did seem to make a few oversights i.e The lack of Hilton Signage in the Lobby????. The movie was filmed in 1982/83 and Hilton took over renovated, upgraded and REOPENED in 1999...... Fact

Another location you should check out is The Thunderball Grotto Located in the Exuma Cays! The underwater cave there was also caught in the film.

Casino scenes are usually shot in the studio, the exception being For Your Eyes Only, which was done on location in Corfu.
