Go Giles ^__^= looking forward to saving up.. will have to get one at a time but will get there 😊… as I mentioned before Sonos need to have speaker stand holders to purchase separately for those of us that own the official Sonos One stands.. makes no sense to have to re-buy speaker stands again especially if they are the same stand and base with the only difference is the speaker holders.. Other than this small criticism Sonos are Elic the best Home cinema sound company and great Hifi Dolby Atmos music enthusiasts.. Right behind you guys.. #TeamSonos ^__^=
Great question, Manuel. You can absolutely place the Era 300 in the ceiling. If you are mounting Era 300 within 2 ft (.61 m) of a ceiling, place it upside down for the best sound. When Era 300 is placed next to a wall or on a shelf, leave at least 1" (2.5 cm) clearance in back and 8” (20.32 cm) on each side of the speaker. Mounting the speaker upside down is recommended if the speaker is installed within 2 feet of a ceiling to optimize downfiring sound. We don't recommend positioning Era 300 vertically or at a steep angle or the audio will stop. Hope this information is helpful. Let us know if you have any additional questions!

Looking forward to getting my pair of 300s today to add them as surrounds to my Arc + Sub setup. Should I disconnect the Boost when adding them, since as far as I know the 300 do not support working with the Boost? Thanks!
@@Miguel-USMC I only have 2 other speakers (SL) but I had no issue setting them up as a stereo pair in another room; they work just fine on a different floor and without the Boost.

I really hope this encourages even more artist to release their music in Dolby Atmos
They are. A lot of classical recordings are coming as DA on Apple Music
100% agree.. Until you experience the Era 300, only then can you appreciate what others say about it.
Trouble is you can only use them as a stereo pair for music but not as a 2 channel setup for the TV. That alone makes it a big NO from me….

Could this ERA 300 be place in the cealing and still sense the spatial audio or has them to be placed at wais level?
