Just spend $6000 and buy 4000 alph coins instead if you beleive its going up. If it doubles you now have $12,000 instead of watching the network hashrate 10x in 6 months leaving you with 4 years to breakeven and hope future miners dont make you unprofitable.

As for profitability, the price doesn't actually have to go up here. At all. If the AL box makes $38 at current prices. Then another miner that is 10x more efficient will be 10x the hashrate. And that will be $300 a day profit at current prices. I think too many people are hoping for more price appreciation and that is misguided.

You’re comparing apples to oranges. True home miners at least like myself don’t have the power supply to run the bigger machines. So for us true “in home” miners that don’t have a shed and a major power supply and the cash for that leap we need videos on best $ roi machine for in home options not comparing them to the big boy machines that aren’t even an option. Appreciate your input and videos.
I believe most machines on network are now Goldshell AL boxes, as it would be about 3300 asics, and its quite realistic number for them to produce in last 2-3 months.
I have ordered 6 KS0 Ultras from Iceriver. But yesterday I received my AL Box and I must say it’s been running very nicely in deed. It doesn’t get as hot as my KA-Boxes either. So yes I second the hobbyist miners opinion. I also think it’s very profitable at only 180W.
I was disappointed that Bitmain didn't announce the AL3 at WDMS. Who knows when it's coming. Meanwhile I want to do some ALPH mining because I believe it's a good project. I was able to find an AL Box under $6k and order one. It's not a huge investment (compared to my KS5 Pro's). If the AL3 is further delayed, maybe I'll even profit a bit.
Yeah it woudl have been nice if they did mentioned a AL3 miner however if they are indeed making $500/day I can see why they are still in the "testing phase" lol
@@JC-ul7co I suppose that there's no reason to release it if they're the only ones with such fast/efficient miners, unless competition is coming or they need to start making money from selling the ASICs

The Goldshell AL Box is at $1400 on the goldshell website, and it has 3.6Hs and consumes only 180w, is that right??

There is only one ASIC that can run the Blake3 algorithm right now, which is the Goldshell AL Box. The BitAxe cannot mine Alephium
The BitAxe Supra runs on 13 watts …
