Very nice. I’m using my GR55 quite a bit lately, had been thinking about upgrading to GM 800, but I think the potential here is more my style… will probably order you patches because these sounds are mind blowing.
I also like the dual guitar/synth modes that the GR55 provides, and I have 3 GK enabled guitars already, plus the converter for the GK3 pickups is way too expensive for my tastes..

Hello, I am using my normal guitar pickups in allmost all the patches, except from the nylon, and maybe some others. (I dont remember just now.) I also use the MOD-guitar to get the fifths on top, or nylon, and sometimes as sitar, mostly in the VOL-2. Some patches are tuned down or up - then I ONLY use the MOD-guitar. I am happy you like them, they have changed my approach - my sound - and my way of playing softer, more melodic end dreamy/ambient music. 👍🎶🎸🐻
In both VOL 1 and 2, I only use internal efx in the GR-55. In general (not here) - I also use an intelligent harmonizer, and a reverb that gives me even more the ambient feeling that I want. 👍🎶 Dont hesitate ro make contact if you have other questions etc. 🙏🎸🐻

When you hit that G at 2:16 I had major stank face. Great patches and great playing! Is the playing here a part of any written works or are they just improv? The whole 2:07 section is seriously good
Thank you very much, I am really happy you like it. 🙏🤩 All the demo- videos are more or less just improvising or fooling around with my own ideas and riffs. 😉 That particular patch is a mix of slicing + delay (to make that backing drive/rythm) on the synth part + normal guitar pickups blended with a fifth on the MOD guitar on top. This sound gives this special effect, which invites a lot easily to "fool around" like that. Gives this pushy shuffle feeling. 🤩🙏🤩🎸🐻
Hello, I just googled your guitar, and I see that it has 13pin connection - same as a Godin guitar; (also with a 13pins connection) that I borrowed for some time. It worked absolutely great, just the same way as my GL electric guitar. 🎸🐻
A few days ago I bought a gr 55 and to my great surprise at the end of the manual it says that it may contain products that cause cancer. Have you read that too???
No, I have not read that, but I have not read it from A-Z. I hope and believe that this only could be relevant if the products are eaten etc. And I would also think that radiation is a lot stronger on cell phones, computers etc... Best regards Asbjørn Henriksen 🎸🐻

Hello, David! I just read the warning in the Roland GR-55 manual, and googled it. And as I understand it - this is written as "users right to know" about issues like this. (Like i wrote in my last answer.) I have no expertise in maers like this, but of course; in circumstances like eating the products, inhaling smoke from it, or mixing it in drinks etc - it just may cause danger. Like a lot of other products around us.
