Hey Thanks! I’ve been wanting to launch this channel for several years, but didn’t think I wanted to be in the videos myself. After sharing the idea with many others and nothing happening, I finally decided I better just do it myself. 🙂

Another good one: what does the Bible say about praying to Jesus? 🔥 Ive been contemplating this. Kinda wanting to speak with Him directly.

Yes. I know when Jesus visited the people in 3 Nephi he instructed them to pray to Him while he was with them. Very interesting.

A synagogue on every corner and not one righteous man to be found. If the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly appear. It obviously says that not many of them suckers are going to gain life.

It says the church is the body of Christ, of which He (Christ) is the head. The universal church consists of everyone, everywhere, who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. “For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free-and we were all given the one Spirit to drink” (1 Corinthians 12:13). This verse says that anyone who believes is part of the body of Christ and has received the Spirit of Christ as evidence. All those who have received salvation through faith in Jesus Christ comprise the universal church.
The local church is described in Galatians 1:1-2: “Paul, an apostle . . . and all the brothers with me, to the churches in Galatia.” Here we see that in the province of Galatia there were many churches-they had a localized ministry and were scattered throughout the province. They were local churches. A Baptist church, a Lutheran church, an E-Free church, etc., is not the church, as in the universal church; rather, it is a local church, a local body of believers. The universal church is comprised of everyone who belongs to Christ. Members of the universal church should seek fellowship and edification in a local church.
So According to the Bible, the church is the body of Christ-all those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 12:13). Local churches are gatherings of people who claim the name of Christ. Members of a local church may or may not be members of the universal church, depending on the genuineness of their faith. The local church is where believers can fully apply the “body” principles of 1 Corinthians chapter 12-encouraging, teaching, and building one another up in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Attending church is very important to grow and edify and learn but there’s many different ways this can happen. )

Thanks for commenting. I see where you are coming from, but there is so many other scriptures that talk about unity and instructions for how to obtain it. Jesus wants us to be clear on doctrine, and not dispute about it.
He also sends prophets to declare His word, and so we want to make sure we’re following the prophet, not someone’s own twist on a prophets words.
The ultimate test is if that prophet leads you to Jesus Christ.
The alternate is if the focus is on something else, such as money, or a hyper-focus on one doctrine like baptism, or the trinity, or Mary, or the Sabbath. Another problem is when men convince people that there can be no more scripture. This is a trick of the devil to convince believers in Jesus to reject true prophets.

@@WhatBibleSay not sure what you are claiming here ? If the purpose of a prophet was to reveal truth from God, why would we need prophets if we have the completed revelation from God in the Bible?
If prophets were the “foundation” of the early church, are we still building the “foundation” today? Can God give someone a message to deliver to someone else? Absolutely! Does God reveal truth to someone in a supernatural way and enable that person to deliver that message to others? Absolutely! But is this the biblical gift of prophecy? No.
Whatever the case, whenever a person claims to be speaking for God (the essence of prophecy) the key is to compare what is said with what the Bible says. If God were to speak through a person today, it would be in 100% complete agreement with what God has already said in the Bible. God does not contradict Himself. 1 John 4:1 instructs us, “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 declares, “Do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good.” So, whether it is a “word from the Lord” or a supposed prophecy, our response should be the same. Compare what is said to what the Word of God says. If it contradicts the Bible, throw it out. If it agrees with the Bible, pray for wisdom and discernment as to how to apply the message (2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:5).
There can be no more scripture that you think there can shows everyone that you are not to be listened too.

Thanks for your input. Your question contains the answer. You say the Bible contains the complete Gospel. I’m just curious how you can make such a bold claim.
Believing in a prophet requires faith. God has said that the only reason a people would not have a prophet to lead them is if they abandoned faith and turned to wickedness.

      Revelation 22:18-19
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
      Proverbs 30:5-6
Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.
      Deuteronomy 4:2
You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
      Deuteronomy 12:32
“Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do. You shall not add to it or take from it.
      Revelation 22:18
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,
      Galatians 1:6-9
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
