Anthony!!! You are a fabulous teacher!! Up to this point I was very intimidated by trying to do a crossword conversion canvas!! Your video is a wonderful source for how to prepare, set up, and work with the canvas. Thank you so much!!
You are very good a making it seem easier than I thought it would be. Will consider doing this in the future. Too new to DP to do it now. Awesome video as usual.
Thank you Diane and it’s a lot more approachable than people think. More time consuming for sure…but I think anyone can do it. Have an excellent day! :)
Thanks for much for explaining this all so well Anthony. I never saw myself doing a conversion but after watching you I am thinking one of these might be in my future. Am really enjoying this process and watching this great image come to life, so I hope you will do some wip and chats so we can watch the progress....the counting in not a problem. I hope you and Apollo have a great weekend!
Thank you for watching Carol and I'm glad my explanation made sense...I was worried I didn't provide enough. Apollo and I did the dog park a couple of times and hung out mostly. I hope you had a fantastic weekend as well! :)
Oh how fun! Great interview. My fav artist would have to be Karla Gerard for all her whimsical and colorful scenery and landscapes. Reminds me of New England
Thanks, Anthony!! You almost convinced me to try this 😂 I also use bottle storage and each bottle top makes a perfect little confetti tray for laying down a few drills 💖
Oh awesome! I can't wait to see what you got! Stay tuned for updates on my cross stitch conversion that I'm doing for Summer With The Masters as well! :)
Loving this and your progress! Thanks for doing the tutorial! Would love the challenge. Does the metal funnel work to reduce static? Where did you get yours? Many thanks!
Hey there Jill, thank you for watching and you totally should give it a shot at some point. The funnel does reduce the amount of shaking and fussing I have to to with static drills or ABs. I got them as a set from Amazon. Let me know if you want me to send you a link. :)
Hey! Thank you for this thorough tutorial for cross stitch conversions. I keep considering buying a princess/villain panel from Jade! You are making this seem not as taunting.
It really isn't once you get that hang of it. One thing that I have learned since this video is rendering/difficulty of pattern really plays a role in things. Less colors is better as long as the detail isn't impacted...learning that the hard way right now haha! Let me know if you end up going with one! :)
WOW!!!! Your a better man than me, I love this but I think I know my limits...for now at least, I like mindlessly diamond painting not much thinking required. However I can see a time when I really would enjoy this challenge if nothing eles but to do some of my favorite old masters paintings..I enjoy any wip and chat you do, counting is not a problem...The amount of time you have put into showing people how to tackle this just so amazing, what a kind and generous person you are..thank you friend 💗💗💗
Aww thank you it's my pleasure and honestly it does not feel like work art all. It makes me so happy to hear your kind words. Have a wonderful week! :)
I think I'll have to give this a go at some point, but probably something smaller haha. I had to take a major break from cross stitching a few years ago and haven't gone back to it since starting diamond painting. Just hearing the term "frogging" unleashed so many traumatic memories. 😂 I believe the origin came from his you'd have to rip your stitches out if you made mistakes. So rip it turned into ribbit turned into frogging. Always love Apollo updates. ❤❤
Ohh that makes a lot of sense haha! Luckily when you make a mistake on a conversion all you have to do is move the diamonds around a bit…no ripping anything haha. I’ll be sure to keep showing my progress but it’s much more approachable that I thought. Have a beautiful day! :)
Wow I'm sorry I doubted your ability. I don't think this would be for me, as I love to have the joy of a finish and I think I would not have that as soon and lose interest.
Life saver, thank you
I am impressed. Looks great.
I'm very impressed with your tutorial on cross stitch conversion. You go in much detail... like a teacher. Thanks for sharing this!
Oh course thank you for watching! :)

I would not mind you counting as you are talking to us. Actually it would feel like we were in the same room. Idk thats my opinion.
Okay good to know thank you! Have a fantastic week! :)
