How to install the ABS Dongle on my 2017 Husqvarna 701 Enduro. The dongle allows you to have ABS on the front wheel and the ABS turned off on the rear wheel.
Both Wheels On = Leave the ABS Dongle disconnected, Rear Wheel ABS Off = Install the dongle (As long as the Dongle is plugged in it will be ABS ON in the front and OFF in the rear.), Both Wheels Off = Unplug the dongle and press and hold the ABS button until it flashes. (This will reset to ABS On Front and Rear every time the ignition is cycled.)
+JIM Husky That's true. ABS in the front and none on the rear wheel. KTM/Husky oem part. It works great. It stops the rear brake from overheating while off road.
It works, by converting a 2 channel abs to a 1 channel abs. Essentially disabling rear abs forever. What I don't understand is: Why pay $100 for such a feature? It should a stock behavior. Toggle between 0, 1 and 2 channels. With the dongle an arguably usefuy road rear abs is gone.
wow, just about to get a 2019 Enduro, stoked to see how easy this is... thank you brother
Excellent choice. You are welcome. Enjoy the new ride.

Thankyou!
That looked easy.
A great video. I installed it on my '17, but how do you toggle between the three modes? Both wheels on, rear wheel off, both wheels off?

With this we have no abs in the back wheel and abs in the front is this correct? And KTM sells this? It works? Did you give it a test?

What does this do?
+blake kramer It removes the ABS from the rear wheel only, keeping the ABS on the front wheel.
Why it does not come standard is beyond me...
Because of EURO 4, the ABS needs to be on all the time
