Been tattooing in a shop for about 5-6 months now. Just did my first castle/cathedral piece on my clients hand. Not super familiar with tattooing hands and fingers so it was TOUGH. If I had just come across this video a week ago the entire process would’ve gone so much smoother lol. From stenciling to tattooing, it was tough. Hell yea I’m glad you liked it. So the castle placement is upside down. To read as an upside down castle. If this were a face or something out it right side up. The only reason it’s upside down is I wanted it to read this way. Hopefully that makes sense

I just wanted to come drop another comment here, thank you guys for all of the stuff that you do at both shops and on all the channels. You have really given me the courage to get back out there tattooing. I've always been so afraid of the social media side of it because I really have no time for it, but over the last few weeks you have helped me get the courage to just do it. I've started the socials, and started putting out some of my work and filling up flash to go!! Thank you - seriously. This really is my last hope at being a grown up lol
This is really cool to hear! The challenge of getting involved in social media is a big one. The first few attempts are the hardest but maybe the most rewarding. It’s just become a part of the industry and we need to adapt. When I started tattooing social media was not part of the deal lol. It is now though. Just like you find your own style in tattooing, find your own style in content. Best way to do that is to try all the styles. See what is the most fun and run with that

I'm still on paper, tracing and light tables, but I'm on a Dragon Hawk/MAST set up now, but I still set up my 6 coil machines sometimes when I'm feeling cheeky. It's scary being midthirites and trying to dive back in 🙈
If I had worked on that part of the body,everything would háve been red by the 1 line I made. I realy like the tattoo from Alex S. The castle,your proces, how to make this amazing work is so good. 🤟👌🤙🙌

I think it’s a great piece especially for a hand but the only thing that sucks is that you can’t control what that person does once they leave the shop. I’ve had people get their hands done and go back to their construction job the very next day and then wonder why they lost like 30-40% of the tattoo
Oh yea. This is definitely something difficult with tattoos. You can give the best advice, do an amazing tattoo and prepare them for aftercare. At the end of the day it’s on the client
@ so frustrating because most people will still blame you when they know damn well they didn’t treat their tattoo right. I at least have some respect for the clients who admit they treated their tattoos poorly

Yea we love the hate! I’m definitely not perfect and I make mistakes. However I LOVE tattooing and I’m so grateful to have a job I love. Every tattoo I do I give my best effort and try to have fun with the client! So let them talk 😂
lol. The upside castle is a design concept I use often on all parts of the body. I understand the confusion but even if it was somewhere else on the body I would have put it upside down.
