Will the syn C ( glass partitions) keep the smell and smoke of food at bay? I have a problem with cooking smoke/ smells despite a chimney and want to divide the large living room also. Can’t erect a wall as the only source of light are the windows in a very long living room.

The mirror panel with white mud work is a hidden toilet door. 2 panels with fluted glass are dummy pannels

Frankly synchronised sliding is very easy to operate. This one will need a small effort in the middle of the night.
