Must have been a parent thing. Had cousins, 11 in one fam, & the Pepsi was only for the mom. My Dad bought root beer & birch beer for himself. Knew we kids wouldn’t touch it. Yuck.

Man, I was so late to the party, only started watching Impractical Jokers about four months ago, maybe? I’ve never been a fan of “prank” shows because most of them aren’t even pranks, they’re just people being dickheads, but I’m a big fan of standup and of Vulcano, so I decided to give it a shot.
No show has ever made me laugh out loud as much as Impractical Jokers. It’s absolutely fucking hilarious, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Check out the podcast "Tell Em Steve Dave". He's been doing it since he was a firefighter. Just three old friends who genuinely love each other. It's my favorite podcast, and I listen to a lot of them.

Love Q to death and the ep was great, but I was feeling like Q maybe didn't understand the show as it was going on, so him being shocked that it was over at the end was hilarious, he really had no clue lmao
I don't know this guy at all but I've seen every ep of this pod and this scenerio has happened a few times and is super frustrating. It's cuz early podcasts like Marc Maron or Rogan from 10+ years ago would have people come on and tell their life story then get into whatever they're on to promote. Some guests think they are in the "getting to know you phase" and answer straight and are saving their comedic energy for when "the show starts" and they only realize at the end that "oh shit, I could've been funny and open the whole time but I was seriously answering these endless questions instead." I blame it on the boys when this happens, not that it's bad or anything, but maybe a brief 3 minute highlight clip or explanation of the pod would help a guest who clearly isn't familiar with the format.

Man I could really use some like two hour episodes of this stuff! I’d love to hear more about ol Q’s upbringing. I’m sure there’s more garbage under the surface that the boys didn’t yet uncover in this measly one hour pod. Even Q was surprised at the brevity! Love you bozos

There's definitely been a shift in the vibe on the pod, where they are racing out of the studio. I miss when it felt like a hang out session and it seemed like the guest felt that way too.

@@CJJC42 the Patreon is just more of kippy and foley though, right? Not that I don’t love those two together, but they really just shine more when they have a good guest on with them.

I think Q was holding back cause he thought they weren't really into the meat and potatoes, until he realized they were past that and wrapping up dessert but by then it was too late. He seemed disappointed at the end (but hey, that's what happens when you don't research the pod you're going on)
