Thanks for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you researched - Chireetler Healthy Sport Rule (do a google search)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for making money as a freelance copywriter even with no experience minus the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my old buddy Taylor at last got astronomical success with it.

Test and learn. Write and explore your interests.
    1. Look past experiences, skills, interests. What people ask you advice about?
    2. Create niche diamond. Example technology and parenting. Become parenting software. Or education soft toy. You can always pivot.
    3. Market research. Who are the top player? Any demand?
    4. Shortlist products and brands. Like yoga mat. Classes. Equipment. Etc.
    5. Start writing. And grow along the way.

This video is full of niche. The information that you provided was quite niche. Good to see your channel get out of the niche and gain some traction. 32k sub is niche to see. Yet the info provided indicates this is at least a 100k sub channel. This crushes other copywriters on youtube. Also big props again to your video editing team/company you use. Solid.

My passion is wine and learning about wine. My dream niche would be to write copy for wineries. There are 180 wineries here in Ontario where I live. I'd like to start by writing for small independently owned vineyards, and working my up to bigger producers. This, of course, would be a sub-niche of the larger food and beverage industry. I'm basically just writing this for you Alex to see what you think, and also wondering if there are any copywriters in the comment section who have experience in this industry I could connect with?

Finding your niche is like discovering pizza 🍕.
Have you noticed how time flies when you eat pizza? Vs how it slows down when you wait in front of a microwave?
9 months ago I started watching myself 📺
I still remember writing an email for mermaid 🧜🏼‍♀️ store (kind of weird I know) and realized I’ve spent 2 hours straight and my coffee ☕️ mug was still full! What? It usually last’s 5 minutes or less. But this time it was colder than an ice cream 🍦. It was a signal, somehow writing emails made time fly.
The other side of the coin: The next day I needed to upload some products to that same store and 30 minutes felt like 2hours..it was like dog time haha 🐶. And yeah coffee lasted like 2 minutes. I quickly found myself thinking about what I could do as soon as I finished that task, what I was going to eat later or what youtube video I wanted to watch.
    So those where my indicators:
    •How long my coffee last’s
•Am I thinking about what to eat as soon as I finish
•How many hours I spend vs how it felt.
That’s how I realized I loved copywriting and later found my niche.
Hope this weird method helps someone currently in the doubt zone.
Just wanted to share my story as I think it relates and practice some copy of course :)

Hi Alex, I'm fascinated by the concept of copywriting. However, as someone who has no experience thus far I have a few burning questions. One is a query as to how copy is distributed - Is the copywriter responsible for sending an audience their own copy on behalf of a client, or does the copy get sent back to the client who then acts upon distributing to an audience. If the former, how does a copywriter find out their conversion rate? Thank you.

    • @AlexCattoni
      @AlexCattoni  4 года назад +1

Hey George! Both! A copywriter can write for themselves or for a client. If it’s for a client, you need to ask your client for conversion metrics. The goal would be to have a great long-term working relationship with a client so you can easily get access to that information

Hey Alex, I have a question. Is picking a micro-niche I mean a very precise niche more profitable than a macro-niche ? For instance, Which is the most profitable niche between Fashion and men Fashion, software products and accounting softwares.

Hey mate, from experience, there’s no ‘most profitable niche’. The most profitable niche for you is the one you’re going to be the best at writing in. What do you already understand and enjoy? That’s going to be the most profitable for you. Also, by the sounds of it, you’re chasing the money more than anything else, which is a sure way to not succeed in business. Money alone isn’t much motivation, ESPECIALLY if you’re not passionate about your niche. What’s going to happen when you start making enough money and it no longer holds the value it once did to you? You’ll get complacent and fall off the wagon. Find a niche you’re passionate about and you’ll succeed far more long-term. Hope this helps! Also, as a budding writer I love to research and write on myriad generes of writing. Is it bad? I mean it gives me immense knowledge about various industries when I research, read and write on them. I am still to find my genere I genuinely prefer writing on any required topic Also, companies do look for variety most of the times. What would you say on the same?
    Thank you

I think you can write for a variety of niches, but you’ll never be the best if you spread your focus to thin.

As an aspiring copywriter, is it possible to specialise in a few niches(4-5) than just narrowing down to one/two specific niche?

I think any copywriter can perform well in many niches by just analysing the other best ads for that particular product and can get the best idea... What do u say about it, plz let me know?

Sure, you can start there. But you'll never be the BEST if you spread yourself too thin.

Hey my earnest request from you to amswer these two questions that I have:
Firstly, can you please name some novels or websites that might be of help to the budding copywriters. I have already seen your '5 book for copywriters' video and will go get them soon but I love reading other movels like fictionals or autobiographoes etc.
Secondly if you can also throw some light upon how a basic CV of a copywriter should look like.
I know we need to read as much as possible. But your recommendation on the same will be valuable. These might be basic questions but I will be glad if you can acknowledge these. Thank you
