I'd like to start by writing for small independently owned vineyards, and working my up to bigger producers. This, of course, would be a sub-niche of the larger food and beverage industry. @@AlexCattoni Hello Alex. I listened to your video on 'how to find your niche' My and I tried to draw the niche diagram but it was difficult. I know my interests though, health/wellness and wealth creation but dont know how to connect the two. Any help is appreciated. I just finished a basic course on Copywriting and I am currently searching for sample swipe sales copy on 'dietary supplements' and also swipe sales copy to present the 'business opportunities in direct selling of health/wellness and luxury lifestyle. Any help with the swipe copies will be appreciated so that I can write good sales copy for my direct selling business and then in near future specialize in these niches.
Hi Alex, I'm fascinated by the concept of copywriting. However, as someone who has no experience thus far I have a few burning questions. One is a query as to how copy is distributed - Is the copywriter responsible for sending an audience their own copy on behalf of a client, or does the copy get sent back to the client who then acts upon distributing to an audience. If the former, how does a copywriter find out their conversion rate? Thank you.
Hey George! Both! A copywriter can write for themselves or for a client. If it’s for a client, you need to ask your client for conversion metrics. The goal would be to have a great long-term working relationship with a client so you can easily get access to that information
Finding your niche is like discovering pizza 🍕. Have you noticed how time flies when you eat pizza? Vs how it slows down when you wait in front of a microwave? 9 months ago I started watching myself 📺 I still remember writing an email for mermaid 🧜🏼♀️ store (kind of weird I know) and realized I’ve spent 2 hours straight and my coffee ☕️ mug was still full! What? It usually last’s 5 minutes or less. But this time it was colder than an ice cream 🍦. It was a signal, somehow writing emails made time fly. The other side of the coin: The next day I needed to upload some products to that same store and 30 minutes felt like 2hours..it was like dog time haha 🐶. And yeah coffee lasted like 2 minutes. I quickly found myself thinking about what I could do as soon as I finished that task, what I was going to eat later or what youtube video I wanted to watch. So those where my indicators: •How long my coffee last’s •Am I thinking about what to eat as soon as I finish •How many hours I spend vs how it felt. Hey mate, from experience, there’s no ‘most profitable niche’. The most profitable niche for you is the one you’re going to be the best at writing in. What do you already understand and enjoy? That’s going to be the most profitable for you. Also, by the sounds of it, you’re chasing the money more than anything else, which is a sure way to not succeed in business. Money alone isn’t much motivation, ESPECIALLY if you’re not passionate about your niche. What’s going to happen when you start making enough money and it no longer holds the value it once did to you?
