ANCIENT megaliths and mysterious STONE JARS of Indonesia

In central Sulawesi Indonesia is a mystical place called Besoa Valley and it holds over 140 stone jars (with lids) and megalithic stone statues with very distinctive facial features. Almost looking like the Moai with hands in front of their waist.
This remarkable place should be a UNESCO world heritage site in my opinion. Perhaps this is from a forgotten civilisation? What do you think?

This giant rocks actually have their own small versions. It could be carved on wood or stones. Mostly, you'd find these tokens in the burial sites in the carst caves around Sulawesi, they are placed inside the jars of human bones. Most of the mini versions of these things have holes in their ears. So to answer your questions: i think, this might be part of the prehistoric religion and it is used for religious ceremonies. these giants stones incidcate important place for tribes to meet up. These creatures resemble the spirit of the nature surrounding, because to us everything is alive and has spirits, so the ground where it stands might possess some sort of importance spirits where the prehistoric settlers felt.
