- Just when Madonna was about to sing the very last song of the Rebel Heart Tour set list "Holiday", SSE Hydro Arena unplugged the sound and light system. Enjoy Madonna and the band delivering the last song of the European leg of Rebel Heart Tour live with participation from the audience. She was amazing as always, in good spirit. Apologies as the quality of this video is not in line with my previous uploads, we got a bit overexcited with this extraordinary situation and I seem to calm down only towards the end of the song

This is Awesome!!!!!! Idk why venues get mad if its Past 12am! they are still getting payed after 12am, When I saw Madonna she started at 10:11pm and the Show Ended at 12:29am. a good two hour and 30 min show! & if the Ticket says 8pm shes not gonna show up at 8pm, ive been to more than enough concerts that the Main Artists show up at 10pm.

If this is the Glasgow show, then I was there. She was late on and they cut the sound at the end due to local bylaws. She sang Holiday acapella.

It was Madonna's own production team that cut the power to the stage apparently. Obviously couldn't have been all the power cuz you can hear some keyboards, and why is she still singing into the mic, force of habit I guess.

At almost EVERY Madonna concert there is always this footage of Madonna in concert...and there is some Latin male singing out loud who actually thinks he's singing like Madonna--and it drowns everyone else out around him. LOL

LoL.. it was quite distracting. when I go to see her, i cant be bothered filming..i get to excited i snap a few pics and a few vid clips. but thats it, or else i feel like im lookin at it threw my camera. and it sux. so ya, no .recording if im gunna be screaming and jumping its just pointless for me. im still happy living without social media all the time. sometimes seeing a show or going somewhere and just the memories are left. no one can take them from u ,or fuck with them. some things I do and left the camera home. EG. madonna shows, live djs in clubs, club events.. unless im sitting down at a table im guna loose my phone most likely anyway.

You can see that video is shaking, I try to understand what is happening, try to watch the show, record the show, sing-a-long... I just could not handle that much excitement I guess ... Well, after 30+ years of showbiz experience, Madonna knows how to handle a concert. No matter if she falls, has costume troubles or no lights/sound - she deals with it.

From what she stated, my extrapolation: They started an hour late because the computer lights/music crashed. The venue closed at 11 PM -- she got them to 11:30 by paying a fine, but she says they went until 11:39. Note that she came out draped in the Scots flag (sign of independence from Britain) and revved the audience up to give them the best possible conclusion.

+Sam C I'm positive she had valid reasons to come on later, she's a very disciplined type, so I'm thinking there were delays backstage or somesuch.
+Sam C Computer chip crashed as the concert was about to start. The lights went off in the venue around 9.05 and everyone thought this was the concert starting, but about 5 minutes later they came back on again and background music played until about 9.40
+Mark Cunningham if you have a show that's so heavily reliant on non-live elements (back-up tapes, videos etc etc) then it has to be 100% spot on. No excuses for things crashing. Have multiple copies!

I think it's normal. I always expect an artist to come on stage 1.5 hours later.

The only venues that have curfews are Stadiums due to noise pollution. Since this is an arena there is no curfew and never has a venue imposed a curfew on an artist. Secondly The Hydro has said it's Madonna's own team who unplugged the sound/lights.... So I rule publicity stunt on her half.
They have to pay the staff at the arena for another hour that's why and did not want to do that greedy I would say and Madonna had to pay a fine I say good for her .
+Andrew Lauder Actually even indoor venues have curfews. If an artist goes on for longer than anticipated this means the venue has to stay open and provide its services for longer, meaning higher electricity bills and the staff have to be paid longer. Yes it was madonnas own team that cut her off because they wanted to avoid paying a fine to the venue, but evidently Madge said fuck it, and got back on stage to finish her set.
I don't agree with this drastic behaviour but I saw here several times and she was always, ALWAYS late... I love her, but she should try to be more punctual and respectful towards her fans and people who work for her!
