Your patience in freeing up that impeller is admirable.

The deep breathing when saying "It is working now"

You’re an absolute life saver!! Thank you so much!! I just fixed our pump using this video by turning the very rigidly lodged screw. Had to wear rubber gloves to get a good grip!! 💪🏾💪🏾Thanks once again 👍🏾

great explanation, having rounded the unblocking screw in a pump that had been dormant for 6 months I followed the guidance in the video the pump is now working perfectly again

did you have to remove the whole pump to do this or just the front (with the water valves both off)?

@@TemuReviewsOriginal If the valves are turned off should be able to remove the front and impellor only. Well I hope so as I am about to do mine. I hope mine is not as stuck !

Hi Sandip just wanted to put a note on here to say thanks, tried the screw that didn't free mine up (3 year old) so took it apart and did what you did, now put it back in up and running. All the best, Rob (Electrician)

Thanks for this video, Just fixed my pump using this method.
A bit of advice when you undo the back, make sure you note which way it goes back on. It should have an arrow 👍

Great video, about to do mine so hopefully not as stuck.
Seems like a lot of people who leave their heating off for the summer have this issue and the standard method of depressing the screw in the front of the unit and turning anticlockwise has not enough force to fix it.
WHY OH WHY OH WHY ARE THESE NOT SUPPLIED WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO RUN IT ONCE A MONTH AT LEAST FOR A FEW MINUTUES OR DO A BETTER DESIGN!
PS When I got mine all dismantled it looked brand new and spun around with no effort. I can only assme the tapping freed it getting into the interior.
    Now works fine.
Shows how prone to blockages these things are.

This is my exact pump luckily I was able to free it using a cross headed screw driver in the back without having to take it apart, maybe took 5 mins of pushing and turning before it freed it enough that when I put the power back to it it started rotating immediately. :)

Can I try the screw even without isolating the pump ? The manual says i neec to isolate but the shut off values for my pump are jammed.

To take the head off. Do you need to drain the whole system?

Kris
