When you understand the depth and weight of the old testemant law (sacrifices etc), it makes you so grateful for the freedom and grace we have in Christ!

My dad died on September 22, 2021. He was 69, and he read his Bible every single night after he got home from work which was around 1. When I was younger and he worked normal hours he would read to my mom and I at night before we would all went to bed. He had been talking and praying and making sure his loved ones were saved a year before he died. Especially the last 3 months. He never underlined anything in his Bible. The day he had his stroke and went in the hospital he underlined a verse in his next chapter the next day. It was about grief. I can’t wait to see him again. He read it from beginning to the end every year. He could break things down to where anyone could understand it. I use to teach elementary ages, but recent health issues has caused me to have to quit teaching children’s church. I lost my child like faith, but I’ve recently gotten it back and I’m not gonna loose it. I never prayed before reading the Bible nor after, but I started it recently and it helps a lot. I’m loving these videos btw!!! Especially the fact that you’re not ashamed to teach and spread the word!!!

Thank you for doing this video. I have started several times with a “read the Bible in a year” setup and have fallen behind and just given up. It helps to hear someone say it is okay to take more time. You have inspired me to pick it back up today. I think mornings would be my time before the business gets going. Sometimes we remember to be kind to others but not ourselves. I have been thirsting for the Bible recently. Thanks for giving me the nudge.

I gotta say, I appreciate the sounds of the sirens outside. I live in a really rough city in California and the sound of emergency vehicles is a daily occurrence. Something very real and comforting in a strange way to me lol. Thanks for not cutting it out or apologizing for it.

Thank you so so much for this video! I don't plan to try to read the Bible in a year but I do want to try to read it as often as possible. I have the She Reads Truth Bible and I have a notebook coming tomorrow (Thursday 9/28). I plan to journal and put down things on my heart from my Bible readings. As well as things I learn from my Bible study I am doing with two of my friends. I really love your channel and I pray blessings over your journey through Bible College and your ministry here on RUclips!

This is such an inspirational video-thank-you!!
I’ve done all of the things you’ve done including reading the smallest books first so I could say I’ve read a certain number of books. 😅
Something’s that have helped me are making a daily habit of opening and reading my Bible. Even if I only read 1 verse. I keep it next to my bed to remind me.
This year I’ve done the Bible recap. It’s a chronological read thru the Bible in a year (or longer-the host Tara says numerous times if it takes you longer that’s fine!!) It’s a broader read thru but is giving me the whole picture which has been a huge blessing! There are links to dive further on the website and on some days I really want more info depending on the book.
One last thing that I like about this program is the host is honest when we read more difficult parts, like census. And, it’s free. 😊
This is by no means to promote one program over another. There are many teachers, programs and study’s that I’ve found helpful.

You look pretty and this was so great Taylor! I'm glad you suggested a study Bible. I love my Life Application Study Bible so much. It's a King James version because that's what I grew up on and have been reading my whole life. My journaling Bible is a New King James version. All of the other versions are fine but the King James and New King James are precious to me. You gave us such wonderful points and ideas. I think you have to make Bible study your own. I usually study the scriptures that our pastor preaches on every Sunday. He is such a wonderful Bible teacher! We just finished Galations and he has just started Revelation. That has always been my guideline. I like to read the scriptures we're given every Sunday in my quiet time. It helps me understand them more. I have many Bibles that were given to me over the years of my life and I've kept every one of them. I'm also fortunate to have heirloom Bibles from relatives. I was happy to hear "let your Bible reading fuel your creativity" too. AMEN! Thank you for the highlighter link too!🌻

A very excellent video Taylor! To sum up a few of the accurate points: God will meet us where we are at. We don’t need to have a heart posture of “performance.” It’s not about quantity but quality! Better to only read, chew on, pray over and meditate on a couple of verses and have it MEAN something in God’s eyes, than running through 5 chapters at light speed and not getting anything out of it. Also, the reference Bible point is so helpful! I wish I had known that some reference Bibles have alternative agendas in their “reference points.”
(Ie: Scofield.) We truly need to seek the Lord personally on what Bible He wants us to read as it can differ from person to person. After reading KJV for a long time, He led me to The One New Man Bible and my ENTIRE WORLD opened up in a way I had never known it could, just by reading the tiny notes and back of the book. It explains things about the context during the time period and “Hebraisms” that I NEVER KNEW for many decades. What a Godsend! It opened up my relationship with Him so much. You look amazing BTW! God bless you and Ashley! Thanks for sharing with us!

Thank you Jesus! Jesus please save us come soon I’m holding on and keeping faith. Waiting for the rapture. I keep faith even as I constantly struggle to provide for my kids and I constantly struggle to buy groceries. My husband is with you God. At times I feel so alone especially as a single mom. Since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus I’m overwhelmed. Both of my sons are autistic but because of you Lord they are thriving. I’m now homeschooling them so my hours to work are limited. Thankfully I have you Lord! The love of others have grown so cold. I know you will continue to provide you have this far. Faith over fear! Praise God and his son Yeshua! Hear my prayers.

I used to refuse to use a study Bible because other man’s words were in there and it should only be the word of God! But….I found a cheap study Bible on Christian book and it changed my study time. It’s like studying with a friend when you use a study Bible and getting their input.

Hi the best thing for you to do is read a king james version bible. And pray to Jesus as in order to be saved we must repent and turn to him. And be born again.
To learn about jehovah witness which is a cult. Type into youtube Gene kim, Jehovha witness and a educational video that is biblical will appear.
