Thanks Ian, I think Men in Sheds might be ok, we have a buyer for the unit who is bying to let, so we just need to see if the rent increase will be bearable, fingers crossed.

So pleased to see you are returning Peter. You are one of a couple of guys who will inspire me to get me out in my shed regularly. Especially with your woodworking and DIY. Oh, love your opening line, I'm not dead, it did make me laugh. Looking forward to your next video.

Thanks for that, there are so many channels that I watch that just stop and you never hear from them again, so I thought an explanation was in order!

Hi Peter. Just found this video - thanks for the update - stuff happens (especially at our age). I was interested to hear about your Men’s shed premises issue - my local shed moved twice in 2023, in the process having to give away or scrap a full container load of salvaged timber which we were not allowed to bring to the next premises! Regarding your supervision of a chap with dementia in the Men’s shed, we have consciously avoided taking on such responsibilities- social services have tried to refer cases to us but of course with no accompanying funding - we have refused there referrals as we don’t have the training or competency to manage them. Onwards and upwards

Thanks John, yes, we had to think long and hard about our dementia man, but it was worth it, we usually restrict the shed to those who don't need any carers, but in this instance we thought it was worth the effort. The shed move was last week, so the video should be up soon, the start of a new chapter.
