North Carolina Transportation Museum: The Polar Express 12/22/19

“ALL ABOARD!!” Here at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC is the annual Polar Express event! Today on its final weekend before Christmas, both Southern 6133 and 2601 would pull the regular trains from Barber Junction to the North Pole (the roundhouse). Plus, as a bonus this year, the second train would have Virginia Railway Express #35 EMD F40PH leading the trip away from Barber Junction making the night extra special! After a couple round of trains coming and going, we finish off with the 5:30 train as they pull in and do the reenactment from the movie (always my favorite part)! All in all, being an annual tradition, the museum has never failed to disappoint me! What a fantastic job as always! Hope y’all enjoy the video and have a Merry Christmas!
