I agree what ever you told, but in Karnataka Second hand car price is too high and unthinkable, almost equal to new car price. Not sure why second hand price is too heavy.
Thanks and you are right! tough question to debate:) some points for practical consideration like cost of living, Quality of Cars, Demands of Supply, IT Hub, Income Levels there are such many more things which are leading cause in such high cost for used car market especially in Bangalore, and hope you are aware that the new car cost is also very high in Karnataka compared to other states, where the Road Tax itself is hefty,, so obviously it reflects with a high price tag!

yes you can use the same DL number plate even after Paying Road Tax in Karnataka. But chances of cops stopping you for document verification is more likely. Which is time consuming unnecessarily!
