If this comes to India I m the 1st one to buy this, m 36yrs old n I don't want to be a diabetic in next 10yrs, so this bike will help me to achive my fitness goal, n also save my money on fuel, if manufacturers are reading please book one for me....
I had the same thought as others. Peddles make little sense to me as a throttle. Does it charge while peddling? Seemed like it didn’t. That seemed a waste of kinetic energy to me. As well I hurt my back and though this is an intriguing ebike I can’t see why the peddles unless it is to get around the laws governing the speed of the machine of the roads? If they had a version with a throttle I’d consider it. Perhaps this is a start up price? For 10000 Euros I can get a low speed electric pickup truck. 55 kmh much cheaper. The inventor claims Asthma? Really? He invented an ebike to curb pollution? Where does the power come from where he is? Though electric is cleaner for emissions of the electric vehicle not all countries use just Nuke power. There isn’t a country using just solar or wind power is there? Fossil fuels are still used to generate power. Yes compared to the emissions of a gas powered car it’s cleaner while running. You still have to charge it. I’d have to install solar power, and a wind turbine to charge this to be true 0 emissions. With the cost of the batteries at $1000 US each, the turbine at how much? The solar cells, multiple are how much these days? Yes I’m doing that because the power company increased its rates 2 times last year alone. However it isn’t for an electric vehicle just yet. As for his supposed lung illness? Really a peddles powered ebike? That isn’t a concern for asthma? If a nod back to the days of mopeds it still makes no sense. Retro nostalgia for peddles makes no sense. If it was easier to peddle perhaps it would be ok for a disabled person like me. However the host looked like he was going to pass out. Another poster said he was an avid cyclist and he had concerns about the 0 return effort to peddle this ebike. So that’s my 2 cents. What ever that’s worth. I’d test one here in Canada for cold, damp, humid conditions. With salt water in the environment of where I live. If they had one for that purpose. Advertising and testing. No I can get a cheap Harley Davidson with an 1100 cc motor for that price. That’s lower emissions than a car or a truck. No Not 0. However ebikes that are powered in an area that uses fossil fuels really isn’t either.
true.. at that price we'll get 9 Athar 450x electric scooter with better acceleration + throttle.. no one will buy this overpriced 2 wheeler. in india price and value is everything.
@@dadul20 They all know, I think this is a prototype, if it comes to india price will be reduced. And all electric bicycle motor manufacters bafang, panasonic, panasonic, shimano ect doesn't make that much high speed motor, then bigger battery and they have to manufacter their motor in thier own thats why the costs are high. But now there many in indian market like hero lectro which starts at like 24000-25000($300-400), top of the range which cost like INR 155000. 😊
@@shijukk72 my friend has hero lectro.. its top speed is 25km/h and range is max 40km. it is an e-bicycle not e-scooter. OLA has recently launched Ola S1 pro electric scooter at 1500 $ (110000₹). Range : 180km...top speed : 110km/h 0-60Km/h in 6 seconds. 8.5 KW motor.. 58nm torque 15min fast changing gives 80km range so new companies should take these facts before manufacturing any electric 2 wheelers.
@Rahul Scootex okinawa okhi 90 is perfect and your burgman is delayed actually.... I have booked one by visiting okinawa showroom and there is huge demand for it and there is a reson why its number 2 maker after hero...
Just got the mews they partnered with LML for launch next year but price is gonna suck definitely....I gurantee ... even if its 2 lakhs and not 9 lakhs it cannot beat existing market of escooters by range. Okhi 90 by okinawa is my favourite and booked one personally....visiting showroom...
It's a very good initiative. Perhaps it will get cheaper in future when average person can afford it as day to day commuting to work. Good for environment and pocket.
This kind of electric and petrol padel cycles in a new tecnologe and top fancy and sporty shape and look should be in every country for poor people to have it for there cheaper and easy transport with low speed vehicle road tracks etc i love it
weird motorcycle because of its pedal.Funniest motorcycle i have ever seen. when I imagined going for a long ride by pedalling this motorcycle with my wife on the pillion seat i laugh and laugh a lot.😂😂😂😂
Very good video about a strange machine; FWIW I rode one of the very first eRockits in the Isle of Man during the 2009 TT raceweek, the year of the very first electric TT race. Pedalling instead of using a conventional throttle doesn't make any sense to me (and I'm a keen pedal cyclist) - I've ridden a great many ebikes, electric scooters and motorcycles, from 10 to 500kgs, and I prefer a conventional twistrgrip! Also one small point: your English is really excellent, but you need to know that we never use the word 'engine' to describe an electric motor...we just call it a motor.
Me too. We already have the technology to create electric motors that also work as generators. Heck! There are already those kinds of motors being sold for literal school projects!
Pedals are an illusion to create that the bike charges as we ride..to certain extent its true...but it's got a battery back that's way too huge to be filled up just by the pedal generator alone...over all interesting gimmick to sell an ebike :)
Its seemingly good product, If you want to get into India, well its a very price sensitive Market. And with alternatives like electric scooters its difficult to adopt these peddling electric vehicles. You can try associating with health and lifestyle, and massive amount of investments on celibraties funding for making it trending. Bcoz it dont have storage space, we can't have a backseat for pillion, nd slightly weird concept. So be careful before investing.

.....The Erockit Is The Starter And Accelerator BY Using The Pedals And PEDALING Like A Real Normal Native Origin Bicycle WITH OUT Using The Electric Motors And Gas Motors As Well.....
It would be cheaper for somebody to convert a velomobile into an electric vehicle with a similar pedaling system. It would be better if the pedals actually powered the motor instead of just being the throttle.

So the pedal is just a substitute for throttle, without providing any help to motor? An ecycle concept would have been better where you had battery power + human power!
This is a better solution, but not affordable! Even manufactured in Germany didn't justify its 11k price! Please get us a cheaper offer asap from INDIA.

This gentleman didnt invent the concept, he bought it out from another german inventor. This is not an hybrid system, since it doesnt measure the strength used to pedal, but the speed of peddling. And since it will be built in India, how can you claim it to be "made in Germany"?
just take out the padle powerwire and pu one accelerator grip it works as a electric bike you dont need to padle thats why you charge it 😂 its not padle power bike you have to charge it 😂
Way to expensive for a lot of people. They don't know anything about marketing. Why not sell a license to Honda, KTM or Yamaha to make and sel this thing worldwide for around 3 to 4000 euro's? They would sell more than 10.000 bikes per year so the profit would be good for the German inventer and a lot of people could buy it.
I hear you. Having asthma, like the eRockit's inventor, it's nice to know there's tech that can help you and the planet stay healthy. Keep well and happy pedaling!

Don't bother launching in India if its overpriced like this. If it has pedals no one is going to take it seriously unless it's very cheap or practical in some way. People will hardly pay around £450-£500. We have better electric options available. Some of them Homegrown.
2021: driving on the Autobahn by car
future: cycling on the Autobahn by eRockit bike
We so need this here in India,as the petrol prices per litre are just going out of reach & the Govt is just a 100% careless about that.

Lot better than building your own e-bike
We need this in the Philippines 😻
I wanna know how fast would it go when I stand sprint on it. I'm a road cyclist anyway

Both speed and exercise, bro! That is the perfect match for a healthy biker!
I want one!
Unpractical. Most recharge stations have t2 sockets and you cant take the battery out to recharge home.
Foe that price, just buy a scooter, it takes 3 minutes to refuel compared to 6 hours to recharge, and you can take it on the highway

Do the pedals charge the bike?
Why was there no mention of the original inventor, Stefan Gulas?
