    Thank you so much I was wondering why my 2020 Tucson was running hot on me. Thanks to your video. I found that I had no coolant in my car. I’m getting ready to get some right now. Thank you so much.

    Can you make a video where you actually adding the fluids. Also any recommendations.

      Hi there, I can do next time I am changing the fluids in one. What ones were you after specifically? Like with anything you get what you pay for, I personally like to stick with the main brands like Castrol for the brake fluid and oils. the washer fluid is less important.

      I would like to add, be sure to use a funnel to easily pour the fluids in. Clean well after use so you do not get any fluid residue.

    I have a 2019 Hyundai Tucson. When the engine is cold it's below the minimum. Do I fill it from the reservoir

    • @RossPerryProductions
      @RossPerryProductions  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi there, sorry I missed this comment, yes if its cold you need to fill to the maximum line. When hot the coolant can rise above the maximum but it should not reach the cap height.

    Did your Hyundai vehicle get the "anti-theft security update"? Some Hyundai models with a "turn key ignition" don't have an "engine immobilizer". People have found out how to turn on the vehicle without the key.

    Should the engine be off when checking the oil with the drip stick

    • @RossPerryProductions
      @RossPerryProductions  6 месяцев назад +1

      yes it should be off, otherwise the oil will be getting pumped around the engine.

    Can you please show the coolant thanks. Cause I’ve never seen a pink coolant

    • @RossPerryProductions
      @RossPerryProductions  10 месяцев назад +2

      what do you mean by show the coolant? Red or pink coolant is another type of 'OAT' coolant that is commonly used in newer vehicles. It works in the same way as orange coolant in removing excess heat from the engine and protecting the engine from freezing.

    I have a 2020 tucson to. I have around 43k miles on her
    I noticed atleast at start up i see a tiny stream of air bubble going up from the hose i assume is this normal

    • @RossPerryProductions
      @RossPerryProductions  Год назад +1

      Hi there, in which hose have you seen them?

    • @AOG_ETH
      @AOG_ETH Год назад

      @RossPerryProductions just the one going into the overflow tank it's one little tiny stream hardly noticeable

    • @RossPerryProductions
      @RossPerryProductions  Год назад +1

      Yes nothing to worry about there, I would be more concerned if your levels were dropping consistently, that could just be the flow of the system pushing all of the air out when the engine has been resting

    • @AOG_ETH
      @AOG_ETH Год назад

      @RossPerryProductions I am a little below the low line I'm add some today I believe I'll start it up and put the heat on add before she warms up to much and hopefully get any trapped air out if there is any no radiator cap that I can see to burp the system so I'll try this method via resivor I guess that's a good way to do it not sure

    • @RossPerryProductions
      @RossPerryProductions  Год назад +1

      Hi Eduardo, The idea behind this video was more aimed at a motoring novice who has never looked under their bonnet before. That said I have often thought about doing a transmission fluid specific video, if I happen to be changing the transmission fluid on a Tucson I will be sure to make a video. Regards Ross

    Rear washer fluid

    • @RossPerryProductions
      @RossPerryProductions  Год назад +1

      Hi there Kirk, I believe on the Tucson there is only one washer reservoir located in the engine compartment. This feeds both the front and rear washer jets. If your rear is not working but the front is I would suggest checking the jets for any blockages, or check the rear pump is operating (easily done by operating the switch and listening out for it. Let me know how you go. Ross

      @RossPerryProductions  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi Eric, it was my intention to make a separate video on the transmission fluid, however I no longer have the car. The intention for this video was to show the fluids that everyone can tend to, ATF is a little bit more involved and not as simple to check and top up.
