was a while ago this but from what i remember the align blades were a bugger to get hold of and about 238. Far superior to the cheap plastic crap that came with the 230s and really gave the heli the speed and stability it needed. Yes…… of all the upgrades done to ‘simba’, without doubt this was among the best. Align blades……… get them!
I really don't understand why people use the Blade 300X motor. The blade 200S motor is far more superior to the stock and 300x. It uses a 3980KV motor, it's the same diameter as stock but is a bit taller (you can still have the motors wires in their stock locations). It uses a 3mm pinion gear therefore using the stock 12T 200S pinion works great.
more poles......... - deeper stator, more rps per kv - it is the one reason why the 4500kv is classified even by E-Flite themselves as an official upgrade.
The 230s v2 is a bit derpy to me, like I can bang the sticks all over the place, except the rudder, and it doesn't wanna flip. Even in idle up 2, it just bbbooogggsss! Then the tail, any Fast rudder, back and forth the tail gives out. Doesn't like pirouettes.
Interesting Sawyer, I';m not getting that at all but being honest, I'm not using the DXe, I'm using the DX8 with my own settings - perhaps I could share them with you? How about chnaging out the motor or even using a higher rated battery? Sounds to me like the battery is shot or even the stator on the motor? it is common.
@@sawyerheslep8493 well if it is still bogging down on you after those settings and you have the pitch curves correct for Normal / Idle up (remembering Normal is stability control), then I'd say it's definitely your motor or battery - the 230s is a powerful lil machine and you should have no problems pirouetting, upside down or anything else.

That really transforms the look of the blade. It looked nice before now it’s sleek.
Agreed pal!

thanks mate - appreciate that.
Nice work! Are the Align blades the same dimensions as the Blade ones? If not, what is the length and width of the Align blade ? Thanks

Where did you get the main blades from?
Originally from Align Trex (AT Models) - I've had these for a while.
