Oh man, I still have the VHS tape from when my grandmother recorded this for me off of TDC back in the day. Gosh this brings back memories.
Nice!! I believe there was a dvd release a while back, too!
There exists a DVD release of this movie. It's from their Disney Generations DVD lineup. However, these movies from that lineup costs so much money on ebay and amazon.@keepingwaltindisney
Yes!! We definitely recorded this from the Disney Sunday Movies.
Best TV ever 1960 -1980s. Memories of our youth.
This episode meows purrfect for this
finnish 🇫🇮 tomcat 😹😺👍.
Thank you 😸😺👍.
I luv the commercials and all! I put it on and it's like a time earp for a few hours im a kid again
Confession: the commercials are more entertaining than the feature! 😂
Thanks for uploading this, especially all the commercials and Michael Eisners opening. Very Authentic indeed, well done for sharing
I was debating whether or not to edit out the commercials, but I like them in...sort of adds some authenticity to the viewing experience! Nice time capsule, too!
🥰Thank you 🥰👍
Thank you this might be a good one
Wow …this sure brings back memories. I watched all the Disney movies and programming back then from the 50’s to when it wasn’t aired anymore. It was a mainstay in my family. I loved all of them. It’s good to see something worthwhile again….thank you for sharing this….another good one was the Cat From Outer-Space….. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🎵🇺🇸🚀
I can finally watch this again, thanks, I love it 😺 I have a cat now that looks just like Leo ❤
I have this on a VHS tape recording. In order on the tape there is Disney's halloween treat, alice in wonder land, the rescues down under and the richest cat in the world. Just so everyone knows i was born in 2002 so i grew during the time dvds started replacing VHS
Great audio-visual promos for “MacGyver” & “Robin Hood” @ 1:45:23-1:46:13; “Good Morning America”, “Who The Boss?”, “Growing Pains” & The ABC Sunday Night Movie featuring James Bond in: “Live & Let Die” @ 1:46:18-1:46:55 & the next episodes in the Disney Sunday Movie series: “I-Man”, “Disney Goes To The Oscars”, “Young Again”, “A Fighting Choice”, “Fuzzbucket” & “Mr. Boogedy” @ 1:47:44.
Nice use of the ABC Closed Caption logo in the beginning of this video. Also, did Leo The Cat just talk @ 2:20?
Yep! He talks throughout!
Just got this on DVD LOL! (I'm gonna download this too) 😃
The cat here is voiced by someone who has plenty of experience portraying wealthy characters, Larry Hagman. However, he was uncredited. He probably didn't want Lorimar-Telepictures or CBS knowing he was working with Disney.
@@LogoMan7777 …and the fact that Dallas aired the same night! Yikes!
@@keepingwaltindisney*Dallas* was on Friday nights, not Sunday.
We should make a reboot Disney film of The Richest Cat in the World in 2025.
Thanks, fun. Just curious - this is 20 years after Walt died, so is there a direct connection to Walt with this upload other than it's the weekly anthology series he launched 30 years earlier?
It seems like a lot of Disney content fell by the wayside as soon as they bought ABC, not just from when Walt was alive but everything up to that point.
@@Attmay Maybe so - I was just asking since I thought this channel was limited to programs directly connected to Walt
