Great vid! And spot on about the history of the various Scot Terrier breeds.My Cairn, Jedi-Master Willy-Gilly was a giant ( 19lbs healthy weight) and had a bark like a German Shepherd. He lived to 17 and died of kidney failure, but not before he diagnosed my cancer...in 2010, Gilly , who slept at the foot of my bed, started grabbing and squeezing my leg at 4am(ish) every night for 2 weeks. I'd wake up and say, "What are you doing? Go to sleep!" After 2 weeks, I was sitting cross-legged and noticed a lump on my right heel. I asked Willy, "Is this what you were telling me about?" He bonked it and gave me the saddest look ever. And never woke me up again. He was right, it is stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and I would be dead if it wasn't for him! Dogs are guardian angels!
My Cairn terrier exemplifies all of these traits with 1 exception. He only weighs about 8 lbs. and since I adopted him from a shelter, I am thinking he is part cairn and part Yorkshire terrier which would explain the smaller size.
Geeze, I WISH my guys were 19 pounds. My two are giant and chunky. I'm Australian, but my dogs have both Scottish and Swedish bloodlines. Dogs here go for over $5000.

We just lost our little Holly four weeks ago, she was nearly 17 years old. She was a lovely little dog.
