Dr. Mpofu-Walsh I have been watching Sbu’s, Penuel’s, Sihle’s, and others’ platforms for about a year now. I watch for the intellectual, cultural, and “street” level discussions regarding politics. As a Canadian white man a little older than Sbu I find their perspectives refreshing and insightful. Having said that, I found your channel just this week (for some reason it didn’t appear in my feed) and your interviews are excellent. Your wide intelligence and experiences make you a fine host and your ability to give your guests a broad leeway regarding conversation and without disruption is very much appreciated. You’re a brilliant host and I look forward to watching more of your episodes, and perhaps reading your book(s). Cheers from Canada 👊
Having been a listener on both of your platforms for close to three years now , I have to say you guys changed my explore page it was filled with Eurocentric media and you actually give a truly relevant South African debate and conversation.
Sbu is great at so many things guys but yo as a radio DJ, Sbu is out of control. His show at Metro was unmatched he got there and did a business show masquerading as a weekend afternoon drive. Dope music and inspirational guests. The way he executed that show was out of this green one.
@MetroFM you got left overs his best was at @YFM where he was surrounded by the greats and he excelled and why by then was provincial, but it would match Metro with listenership numbers.
I remember seeing DJ Sbu for the first time on that show called Gumba Fire, his attitude, drive, hunger and his kadi vibes made it clear to me that he will become the next hottest celebrity in the country, and definitely before we knew it, he was all over our radio stations, and our TV screen and boom he is now our living legend who has achieved a lot in the industry, now as a father and a businessman he's even better, and we are so inspired by his accomplishment's and it's such a great milestone,, shout out to DJ Sbu.
Wow! Just finished watching this episode..This was really dope man..Thank you so so much guys for the knowledge you share with us on these podcast..I really enjoyed it..Daaaanko!!!
i watch a lot of international and local podcast but i'm subscribed to a few....Although your show and Sbuda's podcast may not have millions of subscribers, the caliber of both of them far outweighs many podcasts with large audiences.
There's no inthusiasim amongst ppl...that's why they drag their feet We as SAkns, if we dont change the vote the ship will sink Our country is beautiful, our people are unique Let's vote a new party in,one with goo track records.give them a chance to show what SA can be going forward I love this show andit's an eye opener for us as whites..keep up the great work One love 💙💙💙💙💙💙
Sbu,Trevor noah, coffee are only people that keep telling us as south africans we are great.I wish we had more of this people talking to our youth ,our country is very negative and damaging our youth (self esteem),the more they are told they are not good enough the more they believe it .I am very intentional on what i feed my mind.It makes sense why those people are making it big even outside south africa
Makhado bekaxinisile wen he says we never die we multiply. i jst started to see you on Nkululeko podcast i never know anything abt you untill King AKA passing
That question you asked, "why not the whole country itself?", I think flew past him - but keep trying man 🙏 but I also understand the positivity perspective
Hi Sizwe. I've been following you for a while though I'm a DA supporter, and I wanted to know what you think about they ANC-EFF'a support in Tshwane for a candidate without due diligence without regard for who they're voting in as mayor of the metro? Also, what do you guys make of the fact that several ActionSA and DA members just suddenly decided to vote on the ANC-EFF's side? I mean it was extremely unlikely that all of them felt that a person they rarely knew was more competent than one of their members? Would knowing the ANC-EFF bribed them make you change your mind on voting for them?
This isn't a check mate question or anything, but wasn't it strange that they acted like that? And doesn't it at least imply fowl play or an undermining of our democratic system?
Black excellent must not be seen at all cost because if a black man appears to be able then whiteness dies, it's painful when our own kind become infected by the virus of whiteness.these are the guys who made being south African cool, from Zola 7,hhp,a lot of these great people, motsepe I believe one of these days we will get it right I'm sure as we all work in our corners dots will connect let's push bafethu.
Honestly speaking I don't wanna hear Dj Sbu's political opinion. He is still scared to call a ♤ a ♤. Whenever he's asked about ANC he becomes incoherent. We've seen this multiple times (apologising on JJ's behalf and that useless interview with Panyaza) but I get it, he's a businessman (in denial capitalist).
Sbu don't be delusional Sa is going the Zimbabwean way its only a matter of time. The difference is that Zim is under sanctions but both countries are facing corruption
Well documented, getting to know our idols in such a personal level is a privilege of living in such times. Stay longer Grootman, Stay longer Sizwe, such content sharpens us - More love from TES 🤍💛🖤

DJ Sbu should not be speaking about Big Daddy Liberty in front of Sizwe after what he had to say about him.
Nice show my brother you just need to sort out and improve your sound
We can't keep speaking in our own little corners, it's time to put pressure on our leaders. Ingane engakhali ifela embelekweni. Sibonge🙏🏽
