I mostly listened with an emotionless stare because my mind immediately went to “GTA 6 players prove to be racist, gameplay footage shows players targeting Hispanic NPCs” like… it really doesn’t matter anymore because no matter what you do. I grew up with a family from the deep swamps of Florida. And they are exited for the game. I think the representation of Miami so far is accurate. I would honestly be mad if it was all white and completely inaccurate with the real thing.
People who complain about there not being enough white people haven’t played GTA Vice City back then. Quite a portion of the game was about the war between Haitians and Cubans. Miami is known for its cultural diversity. Even in the 80s when many Cubans came to the US, especially to Miami.
Like Optimus said, I'd rather wait 10 more years for a game thats complete and beautiful than for it to release now and be like how Cyberpunk 2077 initially released.

My only concern is what the gameplay is going to look and feel like, how are they going to handle online(if they plan on doing online multiplayer(I’m sure they will)) customization. But mostly, if they do decide to go forward with online multiplayer will the money earn or spent on the previous game be transferable or will we have to start from scratch

I wonder if Florida gun laws will be something they considered for GTA 6. California (San Andreas) and Florida (Leonida) have very different gun laws. California is know for it's strict gun laws and despite that I've had civilians of all ages and genders pull out a gun on me in GTA 5. So maybe it'll be something you need to consider a lot more in GTA 6. Maybe if you are shooting a gun at a gangster in self defense and a civilian hears gun fire maybe they'll run over and shoot at you. So you'd need to do your thing quickly and then leave before they do something or police arrive. That's obviously speculation on my part though.

I can get behind the release delay. I mean, let's face it, a good chunk of games that came out in recent years were released early and look how they turned out. Barely playable, buggy messes. Sure, that's been a problem for decades now, but there's no reason to not learn from those sorts of mistakes.
I don't know how the game is going to turn out, but the trailer looks great. And that is how you be more progressive without being cringe. Even though it had a lot of diversity in skin color and body type as well as a female main character, it was not preachy or in your face about it. It was just like how it is in real life. People are different, and it is what it is.

I mostly listened with an emotionless stare because my mind immediately went to “GTA 6 players prove to be racist, gameplay footage shows players targeting Hispanic NPCs” like… it really doesn’t matter anymore because no matter what you do. One side or the other is gonna find something to gripe about.
I grew up with a family from the deep swamps of Florida. And they are exited for the game. I think the representation of Miami so far is accurate. I would honestly be mad if it was all white and completely inaccurate with the real thing.

People who complain about there not being enough white people haven’t played GTA Vice City back then. Quite a portion of the game was about the war between Haitians and Cubans. Miami is known for its cultural diversity. Even in the 80s when many Cubans came to the US, especially to Miami.

My only concern is what the gameplay is going to look and feel like, how are they going to handle online(if they plan on doing online multiplayer(I’m sure they will)) customization. But mostly, if they do decide to go forward with online multiplayer will the money earn or spent on the previous game be transferable or will we have to start from scratch

I wonder if Florida gun laws will be something they considered for GTA 6. California (San Andreas) and Florida (Leonida) have very different gun laws. California is know for it's strict gun laws and despite that I've had civilians of all ages and genders pull out a gun on me in GTA 5. So maybe it'll be something you need to consider a lot more in GTA 6. Maybe if you are shooting a gun at a gangster in self defense and a civilian hears gun fire maybe they'll run over and shoot at you. So you'd need to do your thing quickly and then leave before they do something or police arrive. That's obviously speculation on my part though.

i honestly hope rockstar makes it so we can play a free demo to help with the finishing touches on the game. i think it would hype up the game even more, plus they could add more features to our liking so everyone can have a better experience.

I can get behind the release delay. I mean, let's face it, a good chunk of games that came out in recent years were released early and look how they turned out. Barely playable, buggy messes. Sure, that's been a problem for decades now, but there's no reason to not learn from those sorts of mistakes.
I don't know how the game is going to turn out, but the trailer looks great. And that is how you be more progressive without being cringe. Even though it had a lot of diversity in skin color and body type as well as a female main character, it was not preachy or in your face about it. It was just like how it is in real life. People are different, and it is what it is.

I watched the video... I didn't even take note of the high percentage of non-white... I was more interested in looking at the graphical improvments. I am from Toronto, Canada...
