Lots of memories of this place. I was there from 1970 till 1972,, nice to see my old barracks and the chow hall. The food there was amazing. I worked at the fleet center.
Oh really...good to hear that...my father was a base police from 1986 to 1991

My Dad was A Retired US Navy and cooked at USMAVCOMMSTA SAN MIGUEL; where i grew up and played ball and watched free movies at the Oudoor Theatre; we hid inside the dumpster and smoked cigarette smoke came out dumpster and Base Fire Dept came where Navy Firemen found us and died in laughter. Played in bands at the crossroads where life was peaceful and 60s was where good memories piled up. NOTHIN BEATS BASE SWIM POOL AND THE GUIDANG CAFETERIA WHERE BURGER COST $.25 cents and sodas were Ten Cents candies were 4 cents :))

Somehow i still have my Dependent ID card a remembrance for my youth; i retired USAF Air Traffic Controller & stationed at Clark AB total of 8 years
Some of my fondest memories were here as a young man 19 to 21 years old. Thanks!

Wow..memories..remember the xroads well..Both bars..let's see to the left should have been D & S ...and behind you and to your right was the Big Foot bar..Great place for relaxing..beer, ladies and pool 🎱..and of course my favorite the beaches loved the water...
