This Nikon fanboy who owns the A6100 for a couple of years and bought the ZV-E10. Good camera but the HDMI port failed after the 4th day. Everything works great. I did own the ZV1 bought gave it to a friend. Bought the A7c and I love it. I have the 28-60mm kit lens and bought three more. Pancake lenses= Sony 24mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.8 and the 85mm f/1.8. I like the small size of the camera and the portability. Been car vlogging and have use all FE lenses. Stay Safe and Keep Smiling! Cheers!
Can you do a long term review of wife? I see you use her a lot but can’t find any review anywhere. I’m still In doubt wether I need a wife or not for my photography career.
This. I’ve tried researching extensively but not many people have reviewed their spouse. Not sure if this is a wise decision or not. Subscribed in anticipation of Wife Review.
I would like to let you know that Feiyu-tech used all the backers through Kickstarter as an interest-free loan bank. They are slowly fulfilling orders and shipping via boat to all their backers while selling the product on Amazon cheaper and with faster shipping than to their backers. Most backers are reporting that they have not received tracking confirmation and, if they have, it is at least a month out. I feel they used the Kickstarter money to build the product to sell to Amazon without thought of their backers. In the future, I ask that you not consider making a video about Kickstarter products or at least let people know that it is recommended to wait until it is commercially available.
The packaging is tight and delicate, very light, easy to store, fold up and put in the bag easily. It is a powerful device that can support a variety of models, usually I use my own microphone and mobile phone shooting,it can meet the value and quality of goods are very high recommended, you can rest assured to buy.
This seems like a great option! I use a Sony ZV-E10 and I bought a used DJI Ronin-SC and feel that I got a lot of value for a great price (around $230). I shoot a good amount of content that gets uploaded to social media so having the portrait mode on that gimbal is really nice. I've tried to buy an L-bracket and balance my ZV-E10 with a sigma 30mm lens on the Zhiyun crane gimbal and it just quite wouldn't do the trick due to the weight distributing awkwardly.
I appreciate the review! I’m thinking of investing in my first gimbal, and this looks like a good option. Small and simple (but good) are key for me. Thanks, Arthur!
I wanted a gimbal for 3 years now. But im a single father of a little girl and just cant seem to afford it. Love that M3. Keep the great videos coming..been a fan of the channel for years now
In your opinion, I'm starting out with a Samsung s22 ultra , do you think it will interact sufficient with this phone and will it come with any apps to download?
*"no wireless charging not interested at any price even free."* that's how life changing the iWatch/ Samsung Watch is. I for the first time can now understand how to do cinematic grade film work using nothing more than a cell phone now as before I had the wireless watch I had no way to properly *"see"/present* a scene.
Great review! I have the scorp pro and I love it! My question for you is. what are the best settings on the scorp pro to really get smooth and not so jumpy footage? Can you make a video on that?
Thanks Arthur! which Gimbal cAn i use that will allow me to hold my camera vertically to do Panoramas in single shots that can be joined in post or in camera? #2. Which Sony ASPC Or Full frame can do panoramics in camera?? Thanks, i love your channel!!!!
Did you play with the panorama or grid shooting? I'm getting very inconsistent behaviors with my A6600 ... often times it'll just take the first one or two photos, but continue to go through the rest of the motions. I'm also getting a lot of errors that say "Check device"
I could get the Scorp Mini and Scorp C currently for about the same price, one is second hand. I love the lightness of the Mini and don't need the payload of the C. Is there anything on the C that's so much better/useful than the Mini? Thanks for your answer.
Tx arthur, is it possible to do a 360 long exposure with gray filter? how does the 360 works? do you set the time betwee shots and for exampe 5 min fo a long exposure and than the next photo or is it automatic the timin'? tx, -Max
Hi, I just got my Feiyu Scorp Mini today. I wanted to ask how you know your gimbal is charging? Is the a light indicator? When I plugged into the charging port, I don't see any indicator that I'm charging.
Hi Arthur, very nice vid! Can you please tell me if the control wheel can be used to switch lenses on iPhone 13 pro while recording, or, btw, if this gimbal offers any way to achieve this goal while recording?
Thanks for your detailed reviews about this new 4-in-1 gimbal. It's competative in price and functions. I'm the beginner to learn the filmmaking, and I think it's very suitable for me. 😃😃
Arthur, for these pieces of tech that are clearly made for right handed people can you also include a small part in your reviews saying how usable might be for left handed people? Try using it, the buttons and so on with your left hand.
I got Feiyutech AK2000. The hardware is nice, but software is horrible. My first software update bricked the gimbal. I had to send it to China to fix it. When I got it back I tried to update the software it froze. I wouldn't recommend it, unless they improve their software.
Interesting. Is this compatible with a Panasonic GH5 ? (GH4 and GH5s are listed in the kickstarter compatibility file), but nobody can apparently confirm for a GH5...
I always enjoy watching your gimbal reviews especially because I use Sony apsc cameras too. I need to get me a wife like yours that lets me chase her around with a gimbal haha good job man!
I just ordered the Scorp 2 not the mini. Is there a difference between the scorp2 and the scorp pro? Because I am looking for a more robust gimbal that can handle a camera rig with AI tracking. And the scorp2 can only handle about 5lbs. I want the crane4 but it did not have tracking. Your thoughts?
On the app when you use the function to set different positions, can you also set the gimbal so it changes focus using the focus wheel? Would be awesome for b-roll using manual lenses.
I’m curious….did you not add the DJI ronin RS2 or RS2C because you didn’t want to or because they are inherently the better choice (maybe not price wise)
how long does it take to deliver? im a little skeptical about the website and also the other comments make it seem like they take so long to confirm tracking number and delivery.
I've watched your review, (and several others) and I did order the gimbal on Kickstarter. It took almost three months to get it. I noticed in the review that you are not connected to the camera with any cables. I find that none of the supplied cables are capable of properly connecting with my A7c with out an error message, do you see that too? I contacted Feiyu-Tech about it but have not heard back from them. On the positive side, it did balance with my Tamron 20-40, and the Sigma 28-70 contemporary. Thanks
Getting the mini to balance is a challenge, its my first one. the camera i am using is Canon R6 with an adapter and a EF35 lens. any advise on how to balance it
Hey everyone, is anyone else having this issue? With my A6600 plugged into this gimbal I get a "Check the connected Device" stuck on my lcd and therefore cant use my screen? Is there an easy fix to this? Thanks :)
combined weight withought any accessories on this setup is 1288grams and the max this gimbal supports is 1200grams. it will most likley have issues balancing this setup. i went with the Scorp C. It is 265 and will handle any Full Frame setup.
I see that Feiyu Has the FeiyuTech Scorp C? Would the main differences be that its load capacity possibly the build quality? I'm kind considering it over the Mini what are your thoughts about the C version?
yes this is more geared to APSC cameras and not really full frame. this should handle any APSC camera/lens setup. While this could only really handle a few full frame combinations. For example a full frame with an 85mm lens would probably exceed the 1200g weight limit on the scorp mini and not be able to balance it.
Looks good but still not enough to replace my Ronin SC. I need to hold an a7iv in a cage with the sony 16-55 f2.8 APS-C, and a focus motor to zoom with the lens and a mic on top, hold it stable even on 16mm and 55mm, when balanced to the middle (aprox 35mm) I have found no worthy replacement for my Ronin SC for a reasonable price and reasonably compact size. Hopefully one day ....
Anyone bought it directly from the website? Perhaps even from the UK? Their website says they have stock available here so low delivery times. Does that align with anyone else’s experience?
Hello, I was wondering if I could buy it off of you, if possible, only reason why I am going to such lengths is because I am a little worried about the third party website that FeiyuTech is selling their products from. The customers, including me, seem to be getting very slow responses as it pertains to feedback about our order progress, tracking, shipping, delivery, etc...And I know it'll take months to ship/deliver. so if its a possibility, I would love to see if I could buy yours from you? If not, that is fine as well, just weighing my options
size, weight, payload, axis arms length, and the lcd screen (scorp c does not have that screen), and locking mechanism, scorp c is not as advance as scorp mini
Can someone help? I have a 6400 and sigma 16mm f1.4.. but it cant do vortex mode when I'm holding it the torch orientation. The motors just go to sleep mode. The payload is suppised to be 1200g.. my setup is only 809 grams.
Thanks! Looks like an amazing tool, but what sold me on both zhiyuns was the pack size. A small and lightweight gimbal for me is only usable if it packs really well into my camera bag and is super quick to use (quick release). Here the zhiyuns seem to be way ahead. Does it have Bluetooth? Like if I wanna hit "record" on the Gimbal button instead of the camera's button, without using a cable, would I be able to?

Thanks Arthur....this was exactly the setup i was looking for.... i went ahead and supported their kickstarter campaign

Im still waiting for mine.
Did you get yours?

There are definitely lots of low cost options for gimbals on the market these days. Thanks for the review
