I think you're right about maelstrom pulse matching up well against domain. Seems to me that blowing up their leyline of bindings would be of great value.
Hi Arstall, thanks for the vid again bro, really helping us on the ladder, I had a similar question on mind but is more about in witch mach ups is it bad Questing Druid, because as our friend said... Card advantege and a later growing body is too sweet to pass it jaja, thanks for your time man.@@Arstall
I have been running a Naya mice deck to get the best of both worlds with the innkeeper and sheltered by ghosts. Gives you a couple different play patterns that really help keep the gas up but fight the mirror
Has the otter/crab/serpent Simic spells deck made any headway? It’s a super cheap deck (crafted for free with a new account) and does really well against many decks
You can shoot your own Screaming Nemesis to hit them for 5 damage. Gives you additional lines to hit lethal. Or your using it for a problematic blocker/threat like Abhorrent Oculus, Sheoldred the Apocalypse, etc.
The maelstrom pulse is really good at multiple enchantment win conditions. It's probably a better sideboard, but the one in the deck seems fine for its casting cost.
The mono red is very good in best of three. It has some pretty good reach. Remember, you can shoot your own nemesis! There is a reason Nemesis surged up to $30 this week. Forge is a lot weaker now with Authority of the Consuls, so definitely do not bring against decks with white.
I have found that maelstrom pulse is great against alot of domain staples not just bean stalk but the battle, if they play it, leyline binding, overlords etc but where i like it the most is against boros and azorius auras for shektered by ghosts (if you have the mana) and other eqpments. Also seylesnia enchantments that i run into every once in a while.
@Arstall it just always seems when ever I play those auras decks they always end up having like 2 or 3 copies of the card on the battle field. Same with leyline binding In Domain.
@@ArstallI was so surprised to see bats in that video! I love bats and think if the archetype is more explored a lot could come of bats. I sure hope so, and thanks for noticing and showcasing that deck ive been exploring that deck list and it's actually pretty good. Got me through platinum and halfway through diamond!

And it certainly does great work against tokens from Overlord of the Mistmoors
Also to pop those beans before they get like 6 cards 😂
@@goreobsessed2308 Ttrue, when they have multiple beans it's advantaged over Tear Asunder
Thanks for the video ! One more subscriber for you man 👏🏼👏🏼 helped a lot
Welcome aboard! :)
26:05 what matchup are you bringing in the questing druids for? Card advantage just always seems good to me.
Dimir and Golgari Midrange

@@hectormontedehonor1936 Card advantage is good but it comes at the cost of tempo. So I've found it to be better against Midrange decks
I don't know if it's particularly good, but maelstrom pulse can target anything with offspring like the mouse in mono-red
Good point!

Enjoyed made the mono red deck the first one you showed made from platinum 4 very first game first block bo1 made all the way to diamond tier 4
Hell yeah! Nicely done

Yes, I'll be talking about it in the bo1/bo3 meta review later today
Can you explain the inclusion of Witchstalker Frenzy in mono red? What is it usually aiming for?

Why not just run another Tear Asunder then?
Hi where can I see the Gruul sideboard guide, right now Innkeeper's Talent performed as a blank card to me...
I'm writing an update this morning and it will be available here: www.youtube.com/@Arstall/community

Excellent advice
Been running mono white control/tokens in best of 1. It's been preforming really well. People do not like when I play High Noon
Nice! High Noon really wrecks those prowess strategies
Trying the mono black right now. Really wish blue control in some form was in the meta. Closest is the Doomsday mill.
rip azorius control, it's hanging in there but not really tier 1 like it was before rotation

But against Sheltered by Ghosts it's just 1 more mana than Tear Asunder. I suppose removal is removal and being able to hit a wide range is nice.

Man just cut the 4 variations of not mono red down to one this is just sad 😂
Variations with different match ups but I agree it's a lot of Heartfire Hero
I love rabbits. Keen on Wednesday
I hope to do it justice. I haven't quite cracked it yet but there's something there...
@ I’m not sure what that deck you showed ran but hinterland is a good rabbit and I also run a authority of the consuls which works.
Batsssssss
I covered a bats list yesterday in my meta breakers
