I would loved to have seen a clear pic of Storm Vogel , when she was built 65? She sailed from South Africa practically to the start line of the Fastnet race which I think she did very well or may have even won that year ! The start of the large fast offshore boats!
Not a fan of the few second clips, we want to see some longer sailing footage. Horrible conditions, you would want to be on someone else's boat for sure!
@@tomcarr1358 New Zealand yachting great Brad Butterworth is returning to the America’s Cup scene for Auckland 2021. Challenger of Record Luna Rossa have confirmed the four-time Cup winner will help with the organisation of December’s world series event and the Prada Cup challenger series which the Italians are responsible for running. Butterworth has the role of external and institutional relations officer and will help facilitate a direct communication flow with the New Zealand hosts and local Authorities. “I have known the America’s Cup Italian fraternity for close to three decades and have always appreciated their enthusiasm for the Cup and their genuine and transparent sportsmanship,” Butterworth said as his position was announced.

Got to love the classic hull forms with modern rigs and sails

My left ear enjoyed this video
Agreed--the 1 second cuts are annoying...I want to see the boats!!!
Brilliant footage. ( well It would be, some of it was mine!) ⛵
Fantastic!
An idea for a race: Cape to Cork.
Not for novice sailors although probably are few wondering what the hell they let themselves in for!

Yes ,glimpses are not enough especially when exceptional boats are being mentioned and being given no more attention than another 29 year old Sigma.
@@tomcarr1358. You have no idea how complicated it is to combine this video and commentary..
@@stevehhall3385 Point taken. You recall that a picture is worth 1000 words. Thanks anyway as the action is compelling .

How about showing some racing, not just short clips!

Skorpios is 140ft not 125ft no idea why it's called a swan 125?
Bowsprit is probably 15 feet, stem to stern is 125 feet
One second edits and horrible, irritating music. Just can’t watch...
All that footage and half the time spent on a bloke in a dinghy. Very amateurish.
Too short clips - very irritating!!
Choppy editing, horrible music.
