  • I’m blessed to do a lot of rockhounding for a Floridian. In between trips, you can find me playing in my cobbled together lapidary shop.

You are a much better driver than I was! Boy those roads looked rather iffy with two wheel drive! Especially if you don't have a spare and a good mechanics tool set with you! Well it's not the purple agate you were looking for but some of those agate pieces you found were really pretty. And that wonderstone maybe too porous to polish but very pretty when you sanded it. You cabs came out fantastic! Those purple ones are gorgeous! And both of the redder ones too. Great trip and if you have a 4 wheel or even an all wheel drive, I think it would be even better! But you are a better driver than I was! I can't drive anymore but even if I could drive, you wouldn't catch me driving in road conditions like that alone! I couldn't even walk on roads like that! But for some, it would be great! Thanks! I missed your videos!

All my favorite specimen were ones I randomly happened upon while out hunting. Thanks for sharing your adventures, Happy New Years ahead!
