I played dps doom in an ow1 mode yesterday (also 6v6) with a bunch of friends, and one is a junk main and he was also flabbergasted at how much better junk felt and how much more fun the game was, and I was too
They removed oneshots to "make the game better" when there are characters whose entire kits revolve around them 😔
Right? LIke the fact they removed Hanzo and Junk's oneshot yet keep Widow's or at least don't tone her down is downright disgusting. They are biased, no doubt about it.
It's not even a one shot, that's the funny part. You still have to land two projectiles.

Its funny how people say junkrat takes no skill when it requires it to predict where the enemies going and airshots
Tbh I don't mind junk one shot, it's really difficult to hit it from very far away and if you have good game sense, it will be difficult for him to get close to you.

it was pain ideed, but apparently rat is getting buffed next patch (tomorrow i think?) so we'll see how it goes, but this first week of s9 was torture haha
@@RatL0ver69 The patch its today, we will see how it goes, if the patch isn't good I am launching an edit about the death of the rat, which shall be interesting LMAO. But yeah, been pretty active in reddit with this xD, mainly bc I played 2 quickplay games on stream and almost lost it completly, so I decided to take a break and work on finishing drawing the pfp for my junkrat channel xD. Tho, whatever the change is I am doing placements this weekend, so we will see how bad it can get xD (hopefuly the patch is good 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏)

The fact that Hanzo arrow headshots, Junkrat combo, Reinhardt double firestrike, and Pharah double direct hit rockets can’t kill people anymore is wild to me smh
I haven't played ow in a while and I have to say : what waitwaitwait there is NO WAY they got rid of something that, well, takes skill, right? There is no way they made Pharah and Junk not so fun to play, there is no way they made them good only as a choke spammers.... right?....

@@RatL0ver69 I do not even think we need the old one shot combo just take the 5 damage we got to our gun and move it to the Concussion Mine. Adding punching to the combo or targeting people that have been hit, I do not think is that bad, just got to get used to it. The bad part is the flyers or the people that move faster then our main gun, they are a pain to kill. But if we had the 5 damage to the mine we could kill them so much easier. And not have to land 2 mines on someone flying around for them to run away because our team will not just shoot them with one bullet.
As a main junkrat it's sad to see that he can't do that anymore OW he became trash since 2 came out and now he's dead

He was the legit most fun character to play cuz of his ability to just flail himself in and two click someone into oblivion and then blast away again 😭 they cooked my boy to shreds

@@pastromer8552 I actually had that happen abunch after I switched from doom to junk when ow2 came out so idk. Maybe characters that are hard to play takes no skill

the buff did nothing to his kit, his mine dmg is just more consistent now as long as the cooldown reduction but he’s still very inconsistent to secure kills

flanking as junkrat is fun and in comp you have to actually kill the enemy players to win sadly
flankrat was the funniest playstyle before patch but now it’s a lot harder if you wanna stick to this playstyle, he has become boring since blizzard want him to just be sitting with your team and spam mindlessly in a direction :/

My favorite characters are junk and rein, pls give rat his combo back, even if its just 130+120
i have no idea what blizzard are doing with some of these patches, it feels like theyre using random name picker and not putting much thought into them. before the patch i could listen for my enemies footsteps and be one step ahead to shut down a potential ult with a one shot by playing hanzo or junkrat but now my gamesense is irrelevant because i cant one shot, so even though im one step ahead of my opponent, it doesnt mean anything if i fail to land that extra shot or if they have another player with them. just makes the game feel less rewarding for having knowledge of my opponents positions and is more simplistic and boring. i've been playing overwatch for about 7 years and this is the least fun i've had with the game.

This is how I feel with reinhardt, it really sucks not being able to kill someone you shatter anymore, can't even 2 tap someone with 2 really good fire strikes it just doesn't matter anymore

Some characters “brokenness” (one shot combo) is what makes the game fun and versatile. Such a dumb change imo becoming Ticklewatch the enemy at this point.
Not only is the game being killed but the heroes as well.
As a Junkrat main of a couple years now, this is sad for me to see... Will it stop me from using him when I queue for Damage? No... When there's a will, there's a way... And I will find a way to make Junkrat viable again...
Don't think of this as a farewell to Junkrat's viability... think of it as an 'until next time' to it... As us Junkrat mains... we will rise up... and we will find a way to bring him back to his former glory... Stay strong... Together, we will prevail...

You can actually stil one shot if you do the combo but melee them before exploding the mine, it's still not like youre getting that close to them anyways
