    Thanks for yet another informative video... The only way to learn is to make mistakes. We all have done it. And you are so right about just immersing yourself. After a while, you just know what "sounds" right.

    • @SpeakSpanishFaster

      That's right Michael. I was just thinking the other day I was on a call with an Italian friend and I used the wrong word for something. Now I will never make that mistake again because I had an actual experience of using it, making a mistake and being corrected. The more this happens to us, the better.

    Thanks great advice, I actually prefer to use Spanish subtitles with Spanish films and video's rather than English, because often the English subtitles are not good translations of what is being said in Spanish. The other thing you mentioned is the subject of 'contraction' where Spanish speakers cut words down and join separate words together, a simple example is para contracted to 'pa'. Very few teachers on You tube cover this aspect, which can completely throw students. I am trying to incorporate these into my word lists but one can only learn these from life, seemingly! It's good to see that you have a handle on this aspect. Cheers.

    Tienes razón en que gente como yo no queremos cometer un error cuando hablamos. Yo siempre estoy pensando en lo que tengo que decir y de la gramática. Ya me voy cambiar de eso. Sigo leyendo libros, y escuchando música y podcasts en español.
    Gracias por su consejo.

    I appreciate this so much. I grew up in a Spanish speaking household but I wasn’t really spoken to in Spanish a lot. I could understand it more than I could speak and the way you put this made so much sense to me. Guess it’s time to make some mistakes to get better haha

    Usted tiene razon. Hay que escuchar videos y peliculas en espagnol (y repetir palabras o frases dos o tres veces). Si es posible, hablar con amigos que hablar espagnol. Poco a poco, es posible. Progreso, no perfeccion.

    Hola, profesor! Tengo una pregunta : usted pienza que es mas facil de aprender Espagnol si la primera idioma es una idioma es latina (Por ejemplo: mi primera idioma es frances. Usted quiere aprender Italiano. A veces, Italiano parece como Espagnol, no?) Gracias!

    • @SpeakSpanishFaster
      @SpeakSpanishFaster  4 года назад +1

      Si yo creo que si. Para mi italiano fue facil porque parece a espanol. Frances > Espanol será un poco mas dificil que Italian > Espanol PERO será mas facil que Ingles > Espanol. Espero que tenga sentido.
