THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! The music in Wily 5 was incredible. I also love the Wily Dragon fight, great job!
Wily5 barely had any tunes going. What gives? Metal Man Stage was a great modern interpretation if I may say so.

Wow that was so creative. You can so easily tell what everything was in the original game and at what parts you're up to.
One idea for a Flash Man fight though is to have the room large and filled with coins, have cannons or hammer brothers on the side and have a chain chomp going along the ground to trigger p-switches to freeze you in the bricks. ...I'll admit, I forget whether chain chomps can really trigger a p-switch.
That would also kill Flash Man

Why does it's not have more likes? This is the most clever and creative thing I've ever seen used with the game. So much work put into this. Kudos
There's a ton of really clever stuff done to keep the 'feel' of the game. The block transition for the dragon in Wily's Castle 1 to simulate the original screen/camera transition is super well done!

Man, all of this hard work! This is absolutely amazing!!! The level design is clever, the music remixes are spot-on and awesome; I even found myself laughing a lot while watching how crazy and innovative these level designs and the clever usage of assets. 10/10!!! :D

I swear to god I have played megaman more times as a child than I have put hours into any steam game. I felt like I played through the game again watching this.

Nintendo should buy the Megaman franchise and make Megaman Maker. Where you can make Megaman and Megaman X levels and maybe a way to make your own Master Robots or incorporate Megaman more into Mario Maker. I mean it's not like Capcom is doing anything with Megaman anyway.

This is a great homage and is a damn good labor of love. It's Mario Maker, not a custom sprite editor, I don't know how you could shit on this unless you're just cynical and hate fun. Jesus it just gets better - amazingly creative workarounds.

where did they get the sprites for those megaman 2 spikes on the walls? is that just in the tools given to you?
how did they script it to know when you completed all 8 stages and then trigger the wily stage? is that something you can do too?
i’m impressed with the patience this designer must have had in order to create this, it must have taken them 100+ hous, to make something that people can play through in under an hour.
in most mario maker videos i’ve seen , people only make a single level thats like 3 screens long, full of kaizo traps.

Actually, the cutscenes and music are edits. they also used Semi-Solids for backgrounds

I only watched up to the 'Airman' stage and as a music composer I noticed something. The composer for these tracks (very noticeable in Bubbleman) I thought was just going on memory because some of the chords and melody sounded way off. I'm assuming the software he/she used to write those tracks were at fault instead and they did the best they could so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I say this because the music for the Woodman stage was almost perfect and the Airman stage was excellent even with the liberties taken to add a nice little riff before the loop which complimented the score altogether. This isn't a rant, just an observation from someone that has been composing music since the early 90's so I notice things others don't. Final conclusion: Good job.
That was a rollercoaster
I watched this during a treadmill walk so I didn't hear the music with all the machines going. I'll definitely compare and contrast later, as I have been composing since the late '80s.

The problem with that boss is that Crash Bomb was too limited so you had to play the boss 2 times :/

He didnt program it, in mario maker theres the mystery mushroom in the super mario bros engine, using a megaman amiibo you can unlock the megaman suit for the mystery mushroom and that suit comes with all the sounds, nintendo did it themselves this person just added the music

For the love of Air Man all mighty! That was incredible, I loved your work on Mega Man 1 but this blows it out of the water! I feel you especially did well with Metal Man's stage & Flash Man's stage. Maybe that's why it is so good. Just compare MMX3 on Snes vs PS, which had better soundquality but horrible arrangements.
