or you can just do what i do: Tame a pteranodon (any will do) Put all your belongings into a chest or dino (that way you have nothing to lose) go into the wyvern trench yolo style, get an egg, and get the fuck out if you manage to escape, good for you! you now have a wyvern egg if you die however on the way there and it is decently far from the trench, take another flyer to it, retrieve your body (with the egg) and fly to your base this isn't the most reliable way (far from it), but it's the most cost efficient, and least time consuming way of getting one i've found.
You can also use Snow Owls to heal your baby wyvern. The best way by far is to raise over 10 wyverns at once. Use snow owls or Daeodons to keep them alive and you'll never have to do milk runs. NOTE: any egg less than 90 is not worth raising, only good for kibble. Their food/health is very low and you'll have to give it constant attention for days.
@@pugasaurusrex8253 Other great tip: If on Ragnarok, don't try to go deeper into the trench to find better eggs. Find a low level lightning not protected by too many adults and use it to steal better eggs. Before I knew this, I tried to steal a good wyvern egg deep into the trench, and my best pteranodon paid the price.

Dude I used you're guide for the taming cage and it works like a charm👌😁 but I built it with metal pillars and ceilings, and for sure a metal behemoth, because alphas can destroy stone structures. A few meters behind the cage I built a little base (3x3) with two auto turrets on the roof for security, if one wyvern doesn't want to go in the cage. My argy is pretty slow, but it has alot of HP so it works. I killed some high level female wyverns (165-180), but only found low level eggs (lvl 5 to 65) down there... don't know why, maybe it was bad luck.
Haha I use my wyvern to grab wyvern eggs. Grab 3-4 at once and dart to a tek wyvern trap. Doors open and close without any player input. Makes for easy milk runs

At a moderate industrial level i preferred building a gun tower not far from wyvern trench - fly to that as a safe harbour and watch the guns kill all the wyverns following
I used this trick on my first dragon egg on lost island map. I did it to grab ice wyvern egg. I used sabertooth high level with all levels in health. Use any flyer that can grab him. The faster the better. Drop the saber tooth to the dragon. While dragon is killing sabertooth u grab the egg and escape.
there used to be a bird cage without a gate we used back when SE released, I wish I had that design... something like diving near the floor than going back up and the wyvern couldn't dive back low enough to leave the cage back then we had 240+% spd args that could outrun them wyvs, how I miss my fully imprinted max level lightning speed wyv... Then they removed flyer speed, we'd lost that server long before that anyways so.... anyways, anyone that has a working no-gate design please share, thanks also thanks for this vid, it's been quite a while and I've decided to play in a friend's server, great stuff edit: also, quite sure milk used to last a lot less, like a third or so... lol, half an hour is delicious
Sorry this video is coming out after such a long time. This video is a long longer and contains a lot more information that I needed to verify. This normally wouldn't be that big of a deal, but unfortunantly the Easter event caused a lot of trouble for me including longer than normal load times and frequent crashes. Due to this, I couldn't reliably play the game, much less record clips for a video, for the 2 week duration of the event. When they disabled the Easter event, that all went away and I got the clips I needed and was able to complete this video. I hope you guys enjoy!

Preserving salt can't be used in a preserving bin on the console versions for whatever reason. It does work on PC, the bin needs to be running for the bonus to work though.
What is the best level wyvern you can get on official servers? I’ve seen like lvl 300+ but apparently there are only lvl 150 max eggs, and also if I do get a lvl 150 wyvern, how much milk do I need in total?
TL;DR: The highest level should be 150, but could be higher if the stats of multiple wyverns combine. Grab milk if the baby needs it for imprinting, and feed the extras to it since you can't really stockpile the milk. Otherwise, use a Daeodon to keep it alive. The highest level you should be able to get is going to depend on the parent wyverns. I can't remember if it picks 2 random wyverns nearby and mixes their stats or if the egg is a clone of a single wyvern. If it is a clone, the max level is going to be 150. If it is "bred" I'd imagine that the max would be around 175 or so. The longest time you can prevent spoilage on the Wyvern Milk is 9-10 hours if you're on PC and using a preserving bin with preserving salt, refreshing the salt every 2 hours. Otherwise, it spoils in 2 hours. Either way, no sense in trying to stockpile it. Also, you'll want a daeodon to keep the Wyvern alive whether you decide to feed it or not. For imprinting you'd need to gather it at most every 8 hours, and only if it asks for it consecutively, otherwise it will end up being once a day. It will only need 1 for the imprinting, and you can feed the rest to the baby. The milk restores 1200 food. A level 150 wyvern is going to have around 8k food. Babies start with a fraction of that amount, 10% if I remember correctly. It takes quite a while for food to completely drain on tame creatures. I'd say under 100 food would be considered a critical need for food. so yeah, just check the food whenever you check to imprint.

as soon ad you pick an egg, get out of scar and fly as low as you can far into the desert, belly on sand and wyverns get stuck on work/environment, no need for trap.

Just use Enduro stew. It worked for me, I grabbed 2 eggs incubated them, imprinted without milk, and fed it Enduro stew
Instead of using wyvern milk to imprint just cryo the wyvern then throw it out to cuddle or walk it instead

If you have access to genesis and a Blood stalker get one and snatching one will be pretty easy i got 3 using one.

The milk restores 1200 food. A level 150 wyvern is going to have around 8k food. Babies start with a fraction of that amount, 10% if I remember correctly. It takes quite a while for food to completely drain on tame creatures. I'd say under 100 food would be considered a critical need for food. so yeah, just check the food whenever you check to imprint.
If your max Level is 150 max Level eggs will BE Level 160 If your max Level is 180 it will be 190
@@Tecorsuh If the baby asks for milk for imprinting you can just cryo it and throw it back out immediately. It will change what any dino asks for.

Just go in there with 3 argentavis and you kill every wevern then you get the eggs when the place is empty
This can also work with rock drake but rock drakes need saddle it also has tek saddle
Just use xplant to kill the wyvern and when it wants milk put it in a cryopod till it changes to something else it wants
you can ise a daedon for healing the baby wyvern so u dont need wyvern milk to raise it
u can raise the baby wyvern without the milk

Déan you need to adjust the imprinting timer as well to get imprint
as soon ad you pick an egg, get out of scar and fly as low as you can far into the desert, belly on sand and wyverns get stuck on work/environment, no need for trap.
