I picked this up the other week in a Smyths toy store in the UK (the store here only tend to receive two at a time) and overall it's very good. I found that if the lift platform is down the bottom you can use the bird on the drawstring to effectively 'peg' onto the guiderail using the tips of the wings to secure it in place. If the lift platform is raised all the way up I tend to wrap the drawstring around the top latch peg to the side to secure it. You're right about the throne sticker being the most difficult one to apply. It took me a few goes to align it just right very carefully since the stickers themselves are rather thin and can rip easily. I can't get Zodak to sit comfy on the throne though. Even after pegging his feet into the base of the throne, his butt refuses to sit flush on the seat!
I was buying groceries, stopped by the toy aisle about 9am, there it was. I wasn't really wanting this playset itself, but the figure. Luckily I had a friend who wanted the castle but not the figure. We ended up splitting it

I'm really looking forward to your side-by-side-by-side. no one else seems to remember the 2,00x one; I'm trying to decide whether to give mine to my Son or try to ebay it. he saw the box the other day; he hasn't seen the figures from then yet. what do you think? should I disregard the scale difference and dump the 2,00x on the Boy? (I don't mean to spam you. it's just that your video hit me on a lot of different levels 😅)
On the price, the new diorama of the he man and battle cat is £50, which seems over priced considering the castle is £89.99 or £79.99 at smyth toys superstore, so I’m a little unsure about the pricing all together, but let’s see what else they bring out and how the prices are, how do you feel about all the variants ? I’m not really a fan, I’d rather have a different character
Those other characters on the box are characters that Mattel made up, seems like. When Pixel Dan did his interview with Mattel a few weeks, Mattel mentioned to pay attention to characters seen on packages, as they will most likely be an item coming, so there's a good chance they will release these miscellaneous characters.
I think the green badguys with Evil-lyn are just some skeletons she's summoning. no names but I hope they get some figures some day. maybe glow in the dark or translucent green 😎
You *could* preorder on Big Bad Toy Store, they’re releasing in August. For Walmart I just did the toggle of email when in stock, I haven’t seen them come up on Target yet, but I haven’t really looked either lol
