Started with 2 1/10 scale crawlers, new to the hobby at over 65. Then I got a 1/24 for indoor, just bought a desert buggy 1/12. Anything I buy now will be 1/12. The perfect size.
Thanks for being here and welcome to the channel! Your never to old for the RC hobby! The beauty about RCs is there is one for everybody. I’m glad you found the “just right RC size”. Thanks for contributing with your comment! 🤙🏼☢️
I might be choking those words back. I want a trophy truck when I can save up enough for one. I probably want to go bigger on a desert truck than on a buggy. I have a 1/18 scale, 4wd Power Wagon I never use. The parts on it are tiny.
Thanks for watching! Good points however it’s hard to explain the wheelbase of the Summit and the K6 or Notorious. Thanks for supporting the channel. Lots of cool videos on the channel to check out! 🤙🏼☢️
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! Best basher RC if I could only have one would be the Arrma Kraton. The only negative part about the RC is the lightweight chassis that it comes with. I have fix that with my unbreakable chassis. I believe if I only could have one basher RC that’s what I would have. In my opinion the 6S lineup peaks out performance. The 8s is a little heavy and clumsy the 3 and 4s are a little bit lightweight and breakable. If that’s not in your budget the best one is to choose one of the 4S Outcast or Kraton. Arrma parts are cheap and available and upgradable. Thanks for being here! 🤙🏼☢️
The only true scale R/C's are those based on their full scale counterparts. For all R/C's that don't have full scale counter parts, their scale is an approximation. I don't look at scale anymore, only the wheelbase and track width.
Thanks for watching Coupe Coolout! That’s a great question. Traxxas Pro Scale when referring to the UDR is Traxxas way of saying they don’t want to be in the same category is the Mojave or some of the Losi‘s. In someways it’s much more scale than the SBR or the Mojave. However the reality of it is the Traxxas Pro Scale is a 1/7 scale with an almost identical wheelbase to a Mojave or a Fire Team. The UDR being as scale as it is tends to be a little bit more breakable. It’s definitely not a basher. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for being here and welcome to the channel! 🤙🏼☢️
What’s up man! I haven’t had a chance to try a Hobao yet. A lot of people around here are starting to use them for high speed runs you’ll have to keep the channel posted on how they do. Thanks for being here! 🤙🏼☢️
LOL why do you call it the Krah-ton it is pronounced Krause-tun 😀 love all your videos! Doing my shredder upgrade this weekend. How long did it take you?
What going on Jonathan! Thanks for watching and being a part of the channel. It means a lot to a small channel like this one. That’s a great question and one that I’ve been asked before. I used to pronounce it Krah-ton like everyone else. I did some digging into how Arrma names there RCs. It turns out that the word “Kraton” refers to Indonesian royalty. King or Queen. I thought this was interesting so I asked a good friend of mine who lives in Indonesia of the pronunciation. He told me they pronounce it Krat-on. So it stuck! Long live the King Krat-on. LOL. As far as the Shredder BULLETPROOF process it takes about 3-4 hours realistically. However take your time and do it right the first time you will only need to do this once. Play the video as your performing your upgrade if it will help. You can always message me for help or a question. Thanks for the great comment Jonathan! 🤙🏼☢️
Thanks for watching welcome to the channel! The bumpers you see in this video on all of the RC‘s are T-bone racing. It’s the only bumper protection that I use. However T-bone racing closed its doors this last summer after nearly 20 years of operation. Sad. Some of us bought excess supply to provide our future RC collection with protection. You can still find it bumpers and parts on eBay. If you come across T-bone parts they are absolutely worth whatever money they’re asking for. Eventually another company will grow in it’s spot. Thanks for being here and supporting the channel! 🤙🏼☢️
Ya i think anything higher then 35in is a true 5th scale when it comes to 5xthat 35in puts ya at 175 were your in that ball park of a full size vehicle the arrma and the xmaxx being 30in is below that like 155 were thats under the range of a full size vehicle but have it at 30in times that by 6 is 180 were your now in the full size vehicle range ....so 1/6 for the arrmas and traxxas...
What’s up justinfolster2278 thanks for watching! You make some good points. Scale is a funny thing when it comes to RCs. Thanks for the comment and supporting the channel! 🤙🏼☢️
Thanks for watching welcome to the channel! The wind was horrible that day I had to re-shoot the video twice and then scrap all the audio and redo it as well. This was one of those videos I couldn’t do anything about the audio but it was too cool of a video not to let loose. Thanks for being here! 🤙🏼☢️
Thanks for watching! I’ve gone over this a timer too but it’s worth saying again. I’m somewhat of an RC nerd so when I did some investigating on how Arrma came up with its names. I found that the word Kraton means ancient Indonesian king. The Western world pronounces it Creighton. Creighton is a boys name or a good college in Omaha. KrAton means King. It’s kinda like finding out you’ve been singing the wrong lyrics to a song for the last 20 years. Now you know. Thanks for being here. 🤙🏼☢️

@@Mark-qv4bnAnything smaller than 1/8 is toy grade to me
Wheel base is what should be used to scale. Components are upgradable to almost anything you want.

What is the best Scale for a beginner to the RC world?

Yes RCs size matters 😆 Can't bash 1/14th at some spots where XMaxx go..... and vice versa. 1/5th & 1/8th requires big spaces for maximum enjoyment
Thanks for watching! Thanks for the good points and supporting the channel! Welcome to the channel fellow Radiohead! 🤙🏼☢️
Great answer, thank you. Even 1/10 is huge to me.

Those are some huge cars. Looks like fun
Thanks for watching John! They are super fun to run! 🤙🏼☢️
Thank you so much. But Traxxas has a Pro Scale. What is that?
