What’s up ShawnMoreland317 welcome to the channel! I liked this transmission so much I ordered three more. Anything I’ve ever put a planetary transmission in has worked incredible. The torque is unmatched. As long as you have the clearance this transmission should fit in a GEN9. What I would do is add the planetary transmission to your existing transmission that way you get a 5 to 1 gear ratio. You can still adjust the pinion if it’s not enough speed but you will have torque for days. It’s only three bolts to remove it and put it back to stock. You can find these transmissions on eBay and Amazon for about $25. They are universal and work with any RC using a 540 size motor. Hope this helps. Thanks for being here! 🤙🏼☢️

If you look up planetary transmissions on eBay or Amazon you’ll find it for sure. That Shredder bulletproofing process solved a lot of peoples problems including my own. Thanks so much for your support! 🤙🏼☢️

Years ago I found a 10:1 version for a different project. Not much longer than these 3:1 units. Only thing is was the output shaft was 5mm rather than 1/8th (3.2mm)

The turbines are for scale realism only. They do help balance the front end and keep it maintained going down the track. The tractor is powered by X2 8S power systems. 🤙🏼☢️

Most of the rules intertwine to allow people to participate in both arenas. East of the Mississippi goes with NR/RTPA rules. West of the Mississippi goes with AR/CTPL rules. What’s up katokid1981 welcome to the channel! That’s a good point it has a slightly larger battery cavity than your typical battery size. You won’t have a problem finding a battery to fit. However you might have to install some tire foam or some thing to keep the battery from moving about. I hope this helps. Most versatile RC boat in my opinion. 🤙🏼☢️

I don’t talk as much as I show. You’re right I’m not making this in a lab. This was also an experiment that went completely in the right direction. Which is how many things are discovered realized and built. I’m glad you’re intrigued so are many people in the hobby around the world. I have even had attempts by larger companies to buy the rights to use my chassis. I never promised to tell anyone what the material was or that it would be available for purchase. I am however building complete RC‘s ready to run for customers who want the best. The chassis by themselves are not for sale. What’s up welcome to the channel! The two biggest problems that I had with this RC one has been corrected on today’s models (metal servo horn). The second problem is the wheels and tires but that could be on any model. I recommend a bead lock metal wheel and a good set of shoes. Thanks for being here! 🤙🏼☢️

What’s up uhhclapped6774 welcome to the channel! The most important part of this project is disconnecting one of the power wires from one of the ESC three wire input. Don’t cut the wire. Use something sharp to wedge underneath the plastic and the whole wire and connector will slide out so it can be reconnected in another build. Your receiver can only handle the voltage of one ESC. If you fail to do this you will burn up your receiver. Let me know if you have any other questions as well as keeping the channel updated on your progress. I’d like to see the finished product. The best driveshaft I have found that work and won’t break are the metal plastic composite drive shafts for all the Arrma 3s and 4s lineup. If you can’t find those the plastic ones hold up better than the metal . 🤙🏼☢️

Most Arrma’s are pretty cheap to fix whether it’s the smaller plastic lineup or the 6s and 8s metal lineup. Both are good! 🤙🏼☢️

However that would also apply to most specialized drag racing chassis as well as high speed configurations. In the beginning I was going to make it the stock wheelbase but decided to add the transmission to make it a little more difficult and rewarding. You couldn’t do anything like this in the stock configuration unfortunately. That’s what sets my chassises apart from others. Thanks for being here! 🤙🏼☢️

What’s up Timster161welcome to the channel! That’s a good question. On a basher you want the center diff to be open and unlocked so that when you come down off of a jump the power can transfer from the front diff to the rear diff. In a crawler you’ll always find the center locked because there’s rarely a situation where they’re coming off of a 50 foot jump. Thanks for the comment and thanks for being here! 🤙🏼☢️

I was just trying to show people an easier way to do it in their garage without a drill press. Either way it wouldn’t affect the function.
