After watching countless videos of crawfish boil recipe, I found the perfect recipe!! I will test it out this summer. I already know it will be delicious. Thank you so much!! I just subscribed to your channel.
@ John C Thank you so much for subscribing. Yes, give this recipe a try. Make sure you add lots of lime at the end and let it soak for a while before serving 😉😉😉
We use the hose pipe for the water here. I only see people use jugs of water if they are out at the park or lake not at home. But it's how ever you make it.
Yes, that’s reasonable. Make sure it soaks real well in that garlic butter sauce after you boil it. Also, add lots of lime before eating. When you boil it, check on it to make sure it’s not overcooked. Enjoy!! 🙂
@@halngigislots8354 I don't get it either. But I've seen/heard it often but usually with folks whom grew up abroad, so I don't get the young folks whom grew up here doing it. Maybe it's more of a thing for those whom grew up speaking dual languages. I'm Vietnamese, but I speak English way better than I do Vietnamese so I know my lemons and limes. :)
@HnG TV and Doodah Gurl guys, just to clarify. It’s not that I don’t know the differences between lemons and limes. It just so happens that lemons are commonly used in our household. It’s a habit. Lol 😂
Can you share the cleanin process when you get a whole sack please. I want to share that video with a friend. He clean his crawfish with still in the sack i dont think its correct
@@AimeesCooking Awesome! Had The Boiling Crab this last weekend in the new location in North Dallas and although it was good, the California restaurant was better when I first had it 2 years ago.
@@AimeesCooking It's the one near one of the smaller airports and the Hollywood studios, I think. I forget as I was traveling for work then and it was during the same week as The Bachelor show reunion or whatever since some of my coworkers spotted some of the cast in our hotel. :) But there are now two The Boiling Crab in North Dallas. The one that recently opened up in Plano looks similar to the one in Cali (didn't get to dine in due to the virus so can't confirm, but outside looks nice). I think the location further south around Garland is smaller and probably more ghetto. LOL
I'm just curious--Why do you want to take away the crawfish smell? I think cooking crawfish smell delicious, but we live in Cajun Country in Southwest Louisiana. Where do you live?
@@AimeesCooking Aha, OK. I can understand that. It's just that I've never noticed a swampy smell to crawfish. I guess all the seasonings do away with that. My mouth starts to water just thinking about crawfish. LOL!
@@Mgg2601 I live in sweden and was looking for a new way to cook crawfish. All recepies I found had store bough crawfish seasoning and noone used just regular spices.
Isn't this more Vietnamese-style with all the citrus and stuff? Maybe you should have titled it so others looking for a traditional recipe won't get upset (i.e. real Cajuns?) LOL! I did love your recipe, especially with that garlic butter sauce at the end! Yummy!!! BTW, it's simmer not shimmer. :)
Most hygienic crawfish boil ever l 🙌
I’m going to try this tomorrow afternoon looks delicious

Your music sound so relaxing.. I love crawfish boil!!! I like how you use OJ in your boil
@tony2ton yes!!! My favorite thing to do as well!!!
Thank you ❤
Looks delicious
I would have put that Garlic Sauce in a bowl 🥣 for dipping my tails... looks so good I would also dip other things in that sauce.!
And you can do that too 😀
What sausages are you using?
Did you use salt for your purge? Why or why not?
@ superbighead100
Studies have shown purging with salt water kills them faster and really doesn’t help to remove the hindgut. 🙂
Don’t use salt, just rinse with water until the water runs clear.
Excellent video, thank you so much Aimee.
Thank you and you’re welcome 💕💕
great recipe. thanks for posting.

I like to make sure they are really clean. 🙂
Awesome
Thank you!
If I’m boiling half the amount of crawfish, should I just cut the ingredients amount in half as well?
Yes, that’s reasonable. Make sure it soaks real well in that garlic butter sauce after you boil it. Also, add lots of lime before eating. When you boil it, check on it to make sure it’s not overcooked. Enjoy!! 🙂
*Tasty looking crawfish*
thank you!
Learned at lot..Ex ..going to try with some crab
That would taste great too
What kind of cajun powder do you use to make the sauce?
Louisiana shrimp and crab boil 😁
15:00 Flies: It's dinner time booys!!
Cant wait to try this
@ stacey Morrison It’s super yummy!!! Enjoy 😉😁
Does the sugar make them sweet? I like them spicy and sour
Not really. Just enough to give it a nice balance.!
Can I use lemon the yellow skin one?
@lechi lam, yes, it fine to use. However, I do prefer lime 😉
Lemon is the usual way of doing it
Nice chopstick skills
Woooow 🤩🤩
Thanks!!
This looks so Yummy!
thank you!!
It looks delicious but is it limes you want to use or is it lemons?
Sorry, it’s lime not lemon. 🙂
Vietnamese people often mix up lemons and limes. Limes are used in Vietnamese cuisine. But for this recipe, you should be able to do either.
Doodah Gurl are they color blind just saying. I like the recipe just want to make sure. Yellow or green pretty simple. 🤷♂️

" I don't want them to absorb too much flavor" LMAO
@ Taylor And that’s ok. We all eat differently and as long as you like it that’s all that matters 🙂
Crawfish recipe was fine, very similar how we do it. But why not just make garlic/butter dip?
@richard trahan it’s much different when the garlic butter seasoning soaks into the crawfish meat. It’s a much richer flavor compared to just a dip. 🙂

It’s in the video 😉
please tell me the song of background music . i want to make vid for my passed away sister 😭 please ??
Amazing...
Thank you!
Would you say this is similar or better than The Boiling Crab?
Different recipes, different tastes. I like both 😉

How many Onions and Oranges?
@ Isaac huerta about 3 large onions and 4 oranges should do 😉
Can you please list the recipe
Is it like bb’s crawfish
@antonio medina I have not had theirs 🙂
Wait, your from Acadiana area?
@Lam Do I am not 😊
Looking for recepies "use this seasoning bag". Yeah, not gona find that in my country.
What country are you in?
@@Mgg2601 I live in sweden and was looking for a new way to cook crawfish. All recepies I found had store bough crawfish seasoning and noone used just regular spices.
Great video. Im from Ireland, crawfish isn’t readily available. Can i substitute crawfish for anything else? I know shrimp is one option.
Crawfish is the best but you can also use shrimp, snow crabs, and king crabs, blue crabs. 😉
Ash Lawson, if you have a Walmart in Ireland, you can buy frozen crawfish there.
@@sabrinaoneal2177 no Walmart in Ireland I’m afraid.
Hi new friend. 🦞 looks soo good. I’m craving for some now 😋😋😋
Yes, they are very addicting. I am embarrassed to admit how much I can eat lol 😂
Looks awesome, wish you had taken the time to write up the ingredients in the show more.
Noted, will make time to update.

Yay!! Thanks for considering the recipe. Enjoy and congratulations to you and your son 🎉🎉
No Mushrooms?
Yes I added mushrooms, it’s a must lol 😂. I love mushrooms. They taste amazing along with crawfish, lots of flavors.
@@AimeesCooking Best flavors from the pot!
Those were limes not lemons
Yup, corrected myself at the end of the video lol 😂
Brian fuck off
Why orange juice?
@travis onwu helps to take away the crawfish smell 😉
Aimee's Cooking thanks for the quick reply. Does it make it taste any different than using water?
@travis onwu gives a sweeter taste, very yummy!!! Lime, OJ, and garlic is key to this recipe. So delicious 😋
Aimee's Cooking sweet and spicy? Got to give it a try this weekend
@travis onwu enjoy 😉
2 much garlic. Everything else good
The green skin citrus is LIME not LEMON. Lemons are yellow. Just saying...
*Tasty looking crawfish*
Thank you 🙏 🥰
Takes a master to know what's too Aimee!
Thank you!!
