I test drove a Santa Fe Calligraphy a few days ago and that thing was impressive. Nice leather, I love the center console and the little camera circles when you use the indicator are cool. I also test drove a Palisade Calligraphy and found the Santa Fe much better.
Bro I love your videos! I used to be a big time watcher of Hoovies Garage and daddy Doug but they began to ONLY review luxry and high-end super cars. I may be odd for this but I am also a nerd about every day cars. I love seeing the different aspects of styling, practicality, and functionality!
"Toyota is the best because Toyota. I will only buy a Toyota because it's a Toyota and Toyota. Hyundai is not a Toyota so I won't buy it because Toyota. Toyota will last forever because Toyota and bland Toyota styling. Toyota" or something like that.
@@JohnLee-db9zt I was thinking about the Tundra/LX recall since it affected just over 100k vehicles and the only engine you mentioned was the TTV6. I don’t know what Tacoma recall you’re talking about unless it was the one from a few months ago or if you’re meaning the problems that the new 24 has had.
Do you have a hybrid or gas only version? The problems that Hyundai has had with the Santa Fe are only with the gas only versions and this video is about the hybrid.
@@michaelhughett8396 gas dct but I have heard or read at least 2 people with a 2022 Santa fe hybrid on an owner forum that their hybrid transmission had issues downshifting and then an abrupt stop causing them to get stranded on the side of the road. It’s a toss of the coin with these vehicles. Had a 2003 Acura mdx with 192,000 miles and replaced the tranny 2 times between 150,000-180,000 miles, this Hyundai barely a few months old. The engine is fine and still run to this day and no rust. Not looking good on the Santa Fe. I also drive a ford f150 for my signage company. 300,000 miles burn oil have to pour oil in every 2000 miles but everything else works well. Ac blows cold.
As nice as this vehicle is.. if you need really need 3rd row space consistently, this vehicle aint it. Its kind of a twiner, just like the kia Sorento and regular Highlander (not Grand).
@OntarioGuy430 no sunroof is needed and the best u need to be smart to use it everyday. I have a sunroof car and I use it everyday and my next car cannot be without it
I had a sonata hybrid with the solar panel. They say that the maximum benefit was getting 2 miles of extra range if it were in the sun all day. The battery isn’t big enough To store a great deal of electricity so as was mentioned, the benefit is limited. I guess that is why the newer sonata hybrids do not have this feature.
Interesting...I am not a feminist, but I tell my feminist friends that it's mainly because women can be so catty and backstabbing and yet, here you are... as a "man" insulting a man about his appearance? I'm here to see the car and hear the features. As long as he is clothed well enough, I could care less about his modeling looks. Grow up.
I really wish anyone on any car review would highlight faults and stop shitting rainbows.. I own this car, it's extremely nice.. but is loaded with idiotic safety functions and moron design.. 😂

I like the ice cream truck startup sound 🍦

Saw one in person and it looks similar to a Range Rover.
Beautiful design inside and outside.
@@matw1x I don't like the rear end.
Korean instant noodles.
My frustration with hyundai is. The total closure on the key fob doesn't operate the pan roof. What's up with that?
Here come the toyota fanboys .
Yup just wait for them to brag about their overpriced car with no features.

I came here to see Hyundai fangirls get all wet n stuff.
i have both.. they both have their plusses and minuses.. 😂
That's cool you can access the center console from the 2nd row
I've seen two Santa fe's on the side of the road broken down since its release.
While literally hundreds if not thousands of Toyotas with the turbo V6s have been blowing up leading to 200,000 being recalled 😂
And it’s not the hybrid
@@JohnLee-db9zt pretty sure it’s just 100,000
@@Drg24800 I guess if you’re only counting the Tacoma. But there are other Toyotas/Lexus with the same engine.

You didn't do the visibility test with the pointing 😞
Also, wouldnt this be competing with the Highlander or 4Runner?
*Toyota Grand Highlander enters the chat from recall probation.*
Suppose to be a review of the hybrid, but that’s not what’s here.
Got a 2024 on my second transmission.

That sucks, hopefully they fixed it permanently. Is that for the regular gas or hybrid. Sucks regardless
It's the gas version, the silent recall is from a software issue where the thing is throwing itself in park randomly when driving.. 😂
new tundra engine has entered the chat
i wanted to like this car but i can’t get over the look
Not bad for a Santa Fe looks good suv like it
2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid SEL HTRAC AWD 3-Row!
Ben. I came across one of your vehicle videos today from 2022.
You seriously look like a 19 yr old
Hahaha
So it's a Tucson engine.
The glare of from the protective wrap. Once you remove it, it’s very minimal

The Prius Prime has that feature, it doesn't do much though
@@6ec6YRFPTcC I guess the amount of energy output required to drive a car can't be supported by a solar panel the size of a window ha-ha. One Day!

Lot of transmission problems already reported.
Only on the gasoline model.
That back end is hideous. Too bad they messed it up. This won’t sell like the RAV-4. I’ve seen very few of these.I just sold my 15 year old SUV!
Turbo, small deplacement 4 cyclinder hybrid. Hard pass. Get a Toyota hybrid. Long-term ownership matters.

Santa fe has the worst rear design in the world 🌎.
One of the most disgusting cars I have seen in a long time. Rotten....
