Good to see you out digging Matt. Awesome finds brother! Great job of getting through all that lead. Thanks for sharing! GL, HH, and as always.. DIG ON!
Thanks Mark - I've been making RUclips videos for about 3 years now. To me, it's not about the monetary value as much as the historical value of each and every object recovered. Because there was a lot of Civil War activity in the area where I live, that's what I mostly seek. Thanks for watching!
That was a great video to watch! Congrats on all the awesome finds. I really love those eagle buttons. The design is so perfect and artsy looking. Best wishes and HH Dave.
Thanks Dave - I really enjoy recovering relics from this site as they're usually in really nice condition due to the sandy soil. I agree the design of these buttons is amazing. HH!
GREAT VARIETY OF FINDS and great detecting with the Deus Matt😉🙌 Love those General Service Eagle Buttons and those 3 ringers👍 Another FANTASTIC hunt my friend. Happy Hunting 🎃

The GS Eagle is awesome congrats wow perfect back mark on it ... great day it looks like .. 6 to 8 hours ... bless ya man thats a long day Take care Matt
An 8 hour hunt .. you are such a Superman. Being a coin hunter we don't get near that much tray. My guess is, you dig everything repeatable? Nice hunt with many good relic's. I like it when you find a coin or two. Hunt on Matt.
Nice digs Matt. If your ever a mind to, I'd be interested to see some of your collection and exactly how you go about displaying your pieces. Take care.
If you ever plan on going into milledgeville some place n would like a buddy to hunt with ya give me a hollar. I don't get out much n haven't detected anyplace here yet...Your call. : )
Great hunt bud. I’m curious, I know the etrac is heavier but do you feel the deus is better , worse , or similar to my favorite detector the minelab etrac ?
Absolutely love my etrac! I think I would prefer to hunt with my etrac, but the Deus is so light, I usually hunt with it on those long days in the field. But if I only had a couple of hours to hunt, I would grab my etrac. I dig a lot more trash with the Deus, but I'm starting to understand the machine much better now after using it for several months. HH!
The bullets clean up easily with water and a toothbrush. Just gotta be careful not to "over clean" or you'll start loosing the white patina. Buttons are a little different... I don't like to using water because it may alter the patina. I use a toothpick to the dirt out of the grooves, then finish with a brass brush. All relics go into a display case to keep the dust off.
Nice vid Matt... And its always feels good to find a new site... Keep digging!..

Hi Matt. How do you clean and preserve your civil war bullets
