- After recovering from a sickness, I took the best medicine a man can get - a day on the water! It's a proven recovery formula and I take it regularly. The fishing was hot with bluegill, perch and crappie all schooling together in 20-40 feet of water. We tried fishing for bass along the shore but the only time we could get the inactive fish to bite is when we fished out crappie jigs really slowly. That's pretty normal though for winter bass fishing around here. We then cooked up the panfish fiesta right on the boat and I further leveled up in experience in cooking fish in mustard. I'm going to be so ready for the next cook off!

i do not love much from my childhood except fishing and cleaning and cooking and eating bluegs(bluegill) sunnies ,perch ,ole crappie pies, i think my slang is self explanatory . even if we took a full bucket of fish home it wasnt enough i wanted to go back first thing in the mornin, so thank you guys for reminding me of fishin with big brother as children.

If you want to catch a lot of crappies use ham bits! You can get a bag of ham that are in cubes and if you freeze it it keeps forever! Good luck! Hopefully you find that trick useful!

You shouldsave the fish heads for when you get back home. If you have a garden, especially with tomato plants, fish heads work great in giving you a more bountiful yield than no putting fishhead with your fertilizer.

Like the idea of the mustard on the fish I got to try it out. I do the same thing with my pork chops on the grill. Just bury it in mustard then season, tastes great!

Great video!! You should try a filet with cooked crushed tomatoes. My family always made flounder with seasoned crushed tomatoes and mashed potatoes. Just an idea for you.

We have 🐟 🍟 alot. And its 99 percent of time all yellow perch. Perch is a big big thing here in Southern Ontario.
