For mi it is Morrigan, Merrill, and Sera.
@Smoke_Uchiha99 Sera only cause you can only romance her as a female, although it still wouldn't be easy, a female Qunari can help move things better, as an elf you have to constantly watch what you say about elves around her, and magic especially if your elf is a mage. but as a Qunari she won't have to worry about elf conversations, unless your Qunari is a mage which is unique among there kind and is usually frowned upon. under the Qun a Qunari can be killed if there suspected, Morrigan i don't get the appeal with her. she's alright, i think people just like her because she's a fan favorite from the series, but as a romance option she's a terrible choice. Merrill i see more as a sister that needs to be protected, she's cute, but i was expecting a little more out of the romance. by the time you get her approval high enough, the pay off didn't seem as rewarding. Isabella is a head case, but there's alot more that goes on as her and Hawke get to know each other. she even regrets leaving, but i like how she doesn't just fall for Hawke like Merrill did. so the pay off is more rewarding, because it felt like her and Hawke grew together the more they got to know each other.

Easily my favorite romance from DA2, she's just so cute and innocent at times I love her and Isabele
Flemeth is easily my favorite anti-hero/villian. She is so obviously an evil witch, and flouts as much. Yet at the same time helps the good people/heroes of the world to achieve her goals. Shes like if Solas was more open about his intentions.
Honestly Flemeth isn't even an evil witch. Unlike Solus, she doesn't actively lie and manipulate. She just either diverts or she plays along with the misconceptions playfully. Think the only reason we consider her evil is because Morrigan said so. Her actions show her as likely a hero hiding in the background.

Considering the events of Inquisition and potentially 4, 10:50 may very well end up being the most important scene in the series
For the longest time I thought that she was foreshadowing the arrival of Corypheus and his subjugation of the world. Then I realized that it’s only Corypheus to an extent and in reality she was speaking about Fen’Harel the whole time.

One that was bruteforced to happen even through I knew it was bs to do it and wouldnt do that guest even as a completionist if it wasnt needed to progress the story as the main quest.
I don't know why or what exactly it is, but there is something about Merrill that reminds me of Mass Effect's Tali'Zorah. Perhaps its the adorable rambling when they are nervous, I don't know.
That being said, I hope we don't have to fight Merrill in DA:D. She does sound like someone who might side with Solas, especially if Hawke isn't there anymore.
I think she learned her lesson after the keeper... yknow...
And because of that she started rebuilding elven heritage by helping ellves in the alienages.
It's kind of funny because Solas just got sick of the infighting and what was essentially Tvinter imperium of the elven ruling class and decided to seal them

i just know if mahariel was there when merrill and the keeper talked about repairing the eluvian, hawke wouldnt have let merrill keep the knife.
When flemeth says “ oh you’re one of the people” referring to the dalish, that’s mythal speaking as she is elvanuris. Like a king or queen would say to their subjects.
I don't remember how I did it, but it's possible to not fight her clan despite the Keeper dying. My only guess is because in that playthrough I had balanced my green and purple dialogue choices, though I'm not absolutely certain. Recommend saving before fighting the demon iirc cause I think it's a whole cutscene after its death. But it's been awhile and I don't remember exactly. I just know in at least 2 playthroughs I managed to leave her clan alive, but I believe she was still pretty much banished from it. She is happier if they live
You have to pick the dialogue choice "I'll take the blame" and the Dalish will let you go. I don't believe it relates to Hawke's personality. There might be a couple special dialogue options that also allow the clan to live, but I don't remember.

Merrill is my favorite romance in DA2, I wanted to romance Aveline, but it's impossible. You kinda have to sacrifice romancing anyone else to try to pursue Aveline, but she still ends up with the guy we help her save and all we get for trying is a kiss on the cheek to show she definitely wasn't oblivious to our flirting. Isabella was ok, but a little too promiscuous to put it politely. I mostly liked that if your party is Isabella, Varric, and Merrill, Varric and Isabella's banter sounds like they're a mom and dad to Merrill and it's very wholesome. Pretty much the only time you see Isabella being wholesome 😂
Also if you have Isabella's friendship while getting together with Merrill she'll go mama bear on us saying she'll cut off the thing between our legs if we hurt Merrill and possibly kill us
My personal taste, but found Merrill too insecure and kind of neurotic. I like confident alpha women. Even more pluses if they are also athletic. Isabella was awesome.

@@pearl_lisha896 yeah if you play Dalish elf warden she is in the back story part
to be fair, her character doesn't get much exposotion, and when you encounter her she's mourning Tamlen, which I think accounts for her more serious attitude in DAO.
but Merrill was only part of an origin story, and had a different voice actor. so other than helping to look for Tamlen we didn't know anything about her, because she wasn't a character then, she was a npc character that the keeper wanted to send. now why they decided to make her a companion in DA2; that i don't know, but they did a similar thing with Anders. although in his case he can become a party member if you recruit him as a warden, in one of my completed saves i made him a warden, the other i let him go by asking King Alister, and he basically got the templars to backed down. either way Anders becomes a warden whether it's with the hero of ferelden, or he explains how he became one by what he said to Hawke the first time they met.
I find it scary yet I feel I’m super lucky to say that my partner looks and behaves exactly like Merrill.

It's actually not bad, even when Merril is very idiotic and annoying. I still prefer Isabella's romance, Merril is more like thay annoying little sister for me.
Merrill is by far one of the smartest in Dragon Age. It's everyone else that's absurd.
The rival romance is better because she was really wylin when you enabled her
Nah, the clan were a bunch of morons in the friendmance. But then, Dalish always think they know better than everything else.
I was one of those who killed the entire clan. I have no regrets.
