      I just got back from there. Drove from Georgia all the way. Fredericksburg was meh. Antietam was amazing. I didn't expect the landscape to be so rolling. And that ridge over Burnsides Bridge has to be seen in person to appreciate how high it is. There was snow on the ground and I could hardly walk back up it to my truck. I never understood how 400 Georgia troops could hold off so many until I was there and saw the terrain. And the Sunken road where Gordon was, I thought it was going to be a lot shorter. Talk about an amazing battlefield. I am still in awe

    Too bad these battlefield walks get overshadowed by the Gettysburg ones.

    Typical guide. Excessive detail about the numbers of the units go on here this number going there this number going there. Back up back up back up! Give us a macro look!

      Considering this is the second half of a walking tour, most of the "macro" discussions occurred in part 1, as you can perfectly see if you click on it......
