The ZVE10 is a bad camera for profiles like the HLG or LOG. It’s really hard to have a well footage. I have one, & i clearly prefer to shoot with the standard profile.
The luts are crazy .... Very easy to use and if u follow the custom settings given by him for the pictures profiles .... It will make alot of difference.... Must try

i find the noise difference between HLG2 and 3 not noticeable, and i prefer HLG3 for the dynamic range it offers. You can still use the LUTS with any HLG picture profile
@@HadiHajar I currently have my A73/A7C set to Rec.709. Cause when I set it to BT2020, I notice skin tone color look slightly off. But on Rec.709 it looks a tad better to my eyes. Plus I don’t have a BT2020 computer screen to properly view those colors, if that matters?
@@RalfeOrtiz i compared them side by side and came to the conclusion that bt2020 is much better. It tends to have an orange tint especially at sunrise and sunset that can be compensated in color phase or by selecting the less saturated HLG instead of HLG3. I personally prefer HLG3 and i am able to grade it pretty fast.

Yes, you have to overexpose it a little bit. As you can see from this video if you expose around 0.7 you will get a nice balance between dark and highlight areas. Depending on the situation you can reduce exposure 0 or rise it to 1.3, just look at your monitor and train your eye to see what you want to expose and if it is exposed well. I will be glad to help you further if you are missing something. Take a look at the Read me file as well.

Should I put exposure compensation to +0.7 as it is the sweet spot? Because I can’t manually expose as it is just ruin the natural vlogging workflow. I just need to RUN N GUN.

Set your iso to 125, set the f-stop to 2.8 for more Shallow Depth of Field, set the exposure compensation to +0.7 and let the camera calculate automatically the shutter speed based on the light situation. Get a variable ND to try to reduce the shutter speed! Set also the Focus area to Zone, the camera will focus faster! One more thing, If you feel that the Image coming out of your camera is too warm for your taste when using AWB, go to page 1 12/14, select priority set in AWB and change it from standard to white.
@@adstrikemedia8449 I forget to tell you... Aperture mode (A) on the dial is made for photography. To get the right +0.7 exposure compensation, you msut be in video mode. So first turn your dial to movie mode. 2- Go to Menu ....funtion menu set and assign shoot mode to one of the functions. Now press on your Fn button, select exposure mode and change it to Aperture priority. It is Important to shoot in Aperture mode within Movie mode, otherwise you will find your footage underexposed.

Hi Rodrigo, I modified the black levels, color phase and color depth. You will get a flat picture out of the camera, and you need the LUTs to get the results you see in the video.

Yes, just follow my picture profile settings and in this case metering mode should be set to Center or Spot. Hope this helps
