Hi Elia: this one is a much simpler template than my full Life OS systems. Not sure what promo code you mean? but no, currently there aren’t any promo codes on my templates…
All good all good: thanks for the message about it. The complete one has a tour video here if you’d like to see it :) ruclips.net/video/szTZdEQsiys/видео.html
This is so incredibly perfect. I’ve been wanting so badly to go digital but just find it all so overwhelming. I’m a nurse and I’m not studying anymore so I don’t need to be able to plan out huge projects in great detail. This is just the right of functionality to manage my personal commitments and tasks. Thank you!!
ohhhhh shiiiit man! Thanks so much for your effort, simplicity and perfection of this system. I've been wondering around for some time looking for sth like this. Cheers from Poland!
I would create a Board view and group it by dates instead of weekday. Then the date changes automatically. For the weekly xheck I find it more useful to have the habits in Columns. So I use the gallery view for the Cellphone
Yeah, i agree about grouping by dates for a dated system: that’s what I like to use in a board view on my full Notion system where my tasks are dated: but this is an experiment with non-dated system for the fun of it :) nice approach on the habit tracker too.
I have to tell you this is like the "I've finally arrived!" perfect solution. Super easy to set up and a long awaited way to accomplish exactly what you said and that is replicating a paper system with no erasing, plus it keeps a record! It's amazing really. If Notion were smart they'd hire you and push this template as a staple for every Notion user. Really well done and I cannot thank you enough for the organization this has given me!
Very nice but with agenda planner you can go back an see what did you do each week. Here it get erased so I cannot on Friday see what I worked on each day. Have any solution for that ? thanks 🙏
Hi thank you for your video, great lesson! Can you let me know how you change the colour of the card under the week? I see you have blue, purple task cards etc
I really love this minimal weekly planner. I have your Life OS and would love to use this with that. Maybe a video? I am thinking to just replace the habit tracker with my practices page and just us this as my main task manager. Thoughts?
Sure it could work - you would need to link it all up to the projects database of the other task manager as well as the goal setting elements. The issue with this planner would be you wouldn’t have as automated reminders or weekly review functions - it’s much more short term and reliant on you keeping on top of the lists. Can definitely work thou. Interesting to try it. Maybe duplicate your existing workspace - remain it and test out making changes. :)
Trying to figure out how to create a year view so that I can see a board that gives me a quick overview of dates that happen in a particular month -- is that possible?
I’d suggest using my date based systems rather than this tag based one. It was an experiment to not use date and keep it analogue. See my other vids on complete Notion life OS! :)
I bought this template a few months ago. It has been amazing so far. Was wondering if there was anyway of integrating a recurring function with to-do tasks. I just wanted to see if there was a way to generate a list of tasks each morning to reduce the admin. I have looked at some of your videos on recurring tasks but I have found that they don't work on this template. Do you know of any fixes for this? Thanks.
Great to hear ! Thanks for downloading. Absolutely. It is totally possible now with recurring database templates. Check out my recent video on it. ruclips.net/video/cKRbdCSoI74/видео.html I will be adding supporting functionality and instructions to my Life OS templates in a few months when I have completed the development! :)
@@BetterCreating thanks. Really enjoy your approach to using Notion. It is intuitive, and straightforward. Unfortunately, I do not have a background in formulas beyond simple excel ones. So there is certainly a learning curve I am trying to get past. This really helps. Cheers!
You are welcome! First I’d say It’s quite a different approach to the Life OS system as it doesn’t use dates for tasks - just deadlines. I personally much prefer the system in the OS as it is far more automated and long-term. However - if you wanted to create yourself similar views you could try that: If you wanted you could create a final deadline column on tasks and add a second calendar view of those if you wanted to separate ‘do date’ and deadline. You could also create a similar board view in your action section: so tasks filtered for the current week and then grouped by date. Finally you could create another / create linked database view of your task list grouped by project to see all tasks not allocated to the current week. Hope that helps! I suggest sticking to the OS and perhaps download this template and explore how it’s made so you can try copying the ideas you like and adapting them into you system. :) Hope that helps!
Ps. The habit tracker in this template is easily movable to another system - although it wouldn’t be integrated with the goals / yearly planner as the more advance one is in the life OS templates or track the year with % progress.
Use ‘ctrl / command -‘ to zoom in and out. Or equally you can just move the side columns / toggle content to sit under the database views. So you are in a single column if you prefer. 👍
Hi There, Sorry - don't understand this: if you have downloaded the template bit didn't get a link - it could be you entered the wrong email on purchase - please email me. Thanks!
Haha. I still think the regular one is totally the best! The integration with knowledge goals and long term planning can’t be beaten. But This is just a little experiment for those who want proper simple to-do lists to allocate for the current week. 👍
@@BetterCreating I love what you do with Notion. I’ll stick with the OG and now get onto Synced Blocks. I’m sure my wife thinks I’ve turned as your face is always on my computer of late 😂
Not as yet I’m afraid - this was a build and share job! I’m working on a new version of my simplified Notion in the summer so may well release a build video for that then. :)
Love the template! When I'm using it, I have to scroll side to side because it doesn't all fit in one view like yours. Do you know what to do so I can view it all at once instead of having to scroll side by side in each box ie the Weekly Planner box?
Holly mother of god! This is what I was looking for. You did a fantastic video. I just found your channel and I think my life is gonna be transformed. Thank you mate! ✌️
Annnnd, thanks to your videos I have just spent a friday night to monday morning on getting familiar with Notion and setting up everything for my personal life, slowly building it up. PFFFFF. It's kinda nice to have things in a single place. We will see if i get used to this and stick with it.
Of all the tutorials/explanations I’ve watched, this one really captures my bullet journal mindset the most. I just created a motion format the way I like and it’s pretty close to this. I didn’t know how to do the filter for an empty week assignment (bottom of your main features page) so thanks!
I just bought it bro, really like it! got a quick question tho, how do I change the default setting in the habit tracker section? so when I click new week I could just automatically have those new default setting in there?
Great - thanks for the download :) All the programming is in the main practices database - click on the title of the linked database view or in System menu. However - that is much tricker than you might think as this system is a lot of formulas! I’m looking into solutions to improve this at the moment so might be worth holding on for what I work out. It would also be easy to swap this database out and link the goals database to a new one with new filtered views if you wanted to try a different system. Watch this space! - best think is to duplicate the template and then mess with that version to see what you can work out! Good luck :)
Gran Trabajo!
Thanks very much - Yes, it's a nice simple approach to not get lost in the detailed builds. That said - my main life management templates (whilst complex to build) are simpler to use now automated. thanks for watching! Muchas gracias. Sí, es un enfoque simple y agradable para no perderse en las compilaciones detalladas. Dicho esto, mis principales plantillas de gestión de vida (aunque complejas de construir) son más sencillas de usar ahora automatizadas. ¡gracias por ver!

Haha - yeah that defiantly happened to me for the first 2-months on it…! Then I started to find I got more done because of it 😜🕶

How do I change the habits being tracked from Yoga/Reading etc to habits I want to track? Each new week reverts to the default habits
You need to click the configure option on the template button that generated the next habit database and then edit the version within that. 👍
